I am writing this Google review to express my deep disappointment with the service and overall dining experience at your restaurant on November 16th. We chose Signor Sassi Dubai to celebrate my best friend's bridal shower, expecting a delightful evening at what we believed to be a reputable establishment. However, our experience was far from satisfactory, and I feel compelled to bring this matter to your attention.

The ambiance of the restaurant was undoubtedly beautiful, and the setting was appealing. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for the service we received. It is with regret that I must inform you that the level of service was, by far, the worst we have ever encountered in a restaurant in Dubai.

From the moment we arrived, we noticed a lack of attention to detail and an apparent disinterest in customer satisfaction. The service was exceptionally slow, and to make matters worse, the food served to us was freezing cold. One of my friends even discovered raw meatballs in her dish, leading us to send the food back for correction.

In addition to these concerns, I had specifically requested gluten-free pasta as I am a celiac. The waitstaff informed me of my choices, but unfortunately, I do not believe the pasta was gluten-free. Approximately 20 minutes after consuming the food, I experienced severe pains and bloating, symptoms associated with my celiac disease. This left me in a significant amount of pain and discomfort throughout the evening.

The quality of the food itself was nothing to boast about; it was very average and, in our opinion, overpriced. The portions were disappointingly small, leaving us dissatisfied with the overall dining experience. The ordeal continued when the bill arrived, and we were appalled by the inefficiency in handling it. It took four staff members approximately 30 minutes to reconcile the bill, and when it finally came back, it was more expensive than the original amount. While the items we sent back were removed, a service fee for cutting the cake was added, charging an exorbitant 60 AED per person. This fee seemed excessive, especially considering we brought our own cake for the celebration.

Our attempts to address these issues with the waitstaff and the manager were met with shocking rudeness. They initially ignored our concerns, walking away from the table, forcing us to approach them directly. The manager's response, "Thank you for your feedback," followed by turning away to speak with a waiter, demonstrated a complete lack of empathy or concern for our dissatisfaction. Despite informing him of our intention to write a review, his dismissive reply, "You can do whatever you want," left us feeling unheard and unappreciated.

This experience not only marred what should have been a joyous occasion for my best friend's bridal shower but also left us deeply disappointed in the service and hospitality provided by Signor Sassi Dubai. We sincerely hope that you take our feedback seriously and address the issues raised, as it is crucial for the reputation of your esteemed establishment.

Disappointed with the Food, but Great Service and Atmosphere

I recently dined at Signor Sassi Dubai and while I was impressed with the excellent service and the amazing atmosphere, I must say that I was disappointed with the quality of the food.

Let's start with the positives. The service at Signor Sassi Dubai was truly top-notch. The staff was attentive, friendly, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant dining experience. The ambiance was also remarkable, creating a vibrant and enjoyable atmosphere.

However, I cannot overlook the major letdown when it came to the food. The Aubergines dish was particularly disappointing. The texture and taste were off, leaving much to be desired. It lacked the flavor and freshness that I had expected.

To make matters worse, the meatballs were incredibly salty. It felt like all the salt from the kitchen had somehow made its way into the meatballs. This excessive saltiness completely overwhelmed the dish and made it almost inedible.
