Purpose of trip: 1st time to dubai celebrating an old friend's birthday. Enjoyed our stay in Ritz Carlton Desert Resort prior to checking in Bvlgari Resort Dubai Why Bvlgari Dubai: Stayed in Beijing Bvlgari during 2019 & the superb services rendered during the trip by the butler allocated to us left us a good memory& assurance to the Bvlgari brand and quality offered. Hence, wanted to try Bvlgari Dubai resort. Before the trip: Got in touched with the customer service through Whatsapp. Notified that it will be a birthday celebration & requested for two beach bag and birthday arrangements. Very professional support provided and experienced an extension from the Beijing Bvlgari services. Thanks to the team. During the check-in process: Alighted from the car, the reception collected our passports and invited us to the lounge for welcome drink and some snacks. Waited from 12:58am-13:10pm when the tea we ordered are served. Then close to 14:00pm, a staff from Bvlgari approached us. The whole process took close to more than an hour... The first sentence she introduced herself as a staff who only serves guests with a China nationality. We were very shocked as she was holding to our passports which clearly mentioned that we have no affiliation to China nationality at all. We are not against China nationality but we are proud to be citizens of our own country which we are born and bred in. Then she asked if we can speak in Mandarin, which we mentioned we can but we are not well versed in it as our national language is English. Then she asked for a deposit payment, where I provided my credit card. After the transaction went through, she asked a question that we couldn't relate to. She asked can I have a document of your credit card's expiration date. Isn't the expiry date of all credit card printed onto the card itself? It was the first time we were asked for a document to show such information... Then she asked us to wait for awhile and came back with our room cards with a printed mandarin copy of the hotel facilities introduction, which we told her that we could barely understand. She said there's no English copy, which was quite unprofessional for an international hotel. Anyway, she left us to go to our room without sharing on the breakfast information and etc. Then I approached her for a guide towards the premise and etc, which she then did showed us to our room and explained about the facilities and amenities. The corridor into the room: There's a musty smell which I believe is coming from the carpet. Arranging for breakfast: We arranged for breakfast at 9am but the breakfast only arrived in our room at 9:15am...the staff who helped to set up our breakfast asked how's our stay and did we went to other Bvlgari hotels before. We said yes we did went to the Beijing one pre-covid and we felt that it was better over there than our experience here. He made a comment it must be because you are from China. As an international hotel, shouldn't the staff be briefed about the guests profile and not all Asians are from China. We were asked to sign a 675Aed receipt after the breakfast was set up, but he said anyway it is complimentary with every room bookings just a form of assurance that breakfast has been served to us, which I signed off then. During check-out: Check out was smooth. The staff asked for the feedback on how was our stay, we gave the feedback and they said they will do an investigation. He asked about the room and we provided him with the photos we took on the room as attached in our review here. Overall: Not a typical Bvlgari experience. Pretty disappointed for the amount we have paid for just to experience this kind of holiday while the intention is to relax and celebrate our birthday.

Literally I had the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER ! They literally ruined my birthday with their disrespectful attitude & treatment! I’m extremely disappointed! An international resort that is very well known treats people with disrespect! So unprofessional! They ruined the surprise and they didn’t cooperate in anything! Other than the spa that kept us waiting for very long time and saw us leaving without apologies for the delay when they literally had nothing to do ! The lady at the lobby was so RUDDDDDEEEEEEEEEEE ! Like extremely rude ! she had an attitude and whenever we ask her about something or we request help with flowers or anything else she keeps rolling her eyes and not even making the effort to move and try to help ! She literally told us to fetch the flowers ourselves! Even when they brought the afternoon tea the waiter suddenly said oh we forgot to put happy birthday “ he literally ruined the surprise “ ! I came all the way from abudhabi to get such treatment? Even when I asked for the manager they wanted me to wait for long time !!!! Just one person who was trying to cooperate with us ! (Karolina nikiforova ) She was kind and helpful But she only offered a refund or a breakfast ! Which doesn’t make sense because I told them I came long distance and I won’t come back for breakfast! What guarantees me I won’t get such treatment again !!!!! My country has core values including peace , tolerance and RESPECT And I don’t accept being Disrespected AT MY OWN COUNTRY!!! They literally ruined my mood and my birthday celebration! I hope someone who’s responsible looks into it and makes sure that no one is being disrespected at the resort Ladies and gentlemen DO NOT TRY CELEBRATING HAPPY OCCASIONS AT THE RESORT! You’ll end up leaving angry and frustrated I’m frustrated since yesterday!!!!!!!!!

simply i am by now convinced that bulvarı doenst care about their clients as they know they are a brand and they are full anyways so the customer feedback or satisfaction is any priority. i personally just gave another chance today to bulvarı - and on my birthday what a mistake - and they ruined the morning. probably everyone decent and trained is off during this eid break - the waiter had no idea about the menu, even they wrote word by word the order they still made mistake, they don’t know what is a poached egg what is a boiled egg .. they bring the order in side dish plate, some plates with salmon for the lemon some didn’t .. worst gluten free bread - by far i mean in probably the region - and they have the audacity to keep going and not mentioning even that we are not happy to the manager .. i mean the team probably were full of interns and of course they could have done nothing when they have no manager / leader and obviously no SOP. also there is a bird problem, we didn’t mind, the bird flies in but i got worried that they were going to hurt the bird .. they had no idea how to handle this birds who pooped behind me - see the photo - and the mosquitos .. i mean wow … wow .. and then we paid 775aed for this breakfast .. where we got stressed, pooped kind of on, left hungry as we all wanted to eat more but didn’t order anymore, and eaten by mosquitos.also when i mentioned this to two ladies at their reception in the restaurant, one of them kept smiling - was so surreal - and the other one just didn’t talk about this or didn’t come back to us and said anything. it’s incredible. wow. - thank you. we are not coming back.

In the beginning I would like to thank Bulgari for their service and the staff that works there, especially Meritexell Gonzalez and the team of the yacht helpers. Yesterday we faced some problems while we were beside Bulgari, our yacht had some issues in the electricity. Before discovering the issue, we stopped beside Bulgari, so we were having fun and enjoying the sea and the view. When we planned to go back to the Marina our yacht stopped working caused by an electric failure. At that time, we called Bulgari staff for help so that we can park our yacht in the parking for just one day so we can fix it and take it back. With their kindness they came faster than the time we expected with a smile in their faces. They towed our yacht to the parking of Bulgari, when we reached there the manager was waiting for us, her name Meritexell Gonzalez, she was worried about us and welcomed us with a smile in her face, she told us to not worry and we can park until we fix the issue. Also, she said the most important is your safety, that thing showed us how Bulgari staff are so helpful and they will help you as much as they can. Thank you Bulgari , Thank you Meritexell Gonzalez , Thank you for the man that I will put his picture.

We have recently had the utmost pleasure to stay at the incredible Bulgari resort, words would never be enough to describe how special our experience was. The resort is beautiful and the rooms are stunning - every little detail is a masterpiece on its own. Everywhere you look it screams beauty, luxury and craftsmanship. I’ve been to lots of luxury hotels but this is truly something else. The spa feels like the most serene place on the planet, we stayed until closing times almost because it was just so peaceful. But what truly stands out the most is the staff, the attention to us has been truly incredible and special - everyone has been so caring and made us feel at home. They’ve gone out of their way to make our stay special. The level of service is at the highest level. The food and drinks have also been exceptional but that is a little detail compared to the rest. We loved our experience so much that we did not leave the hotel for our entire time there and that says enough :) To the dear Bulgari staff in case they are reading - thank you so so so much for what was a truly incredible stay. You’ve built something truly special and we’ll be forever grateful we got the chance to experience it!
