We walked around the area yesterday in the afternoon and at night. This is our first time experiencing a desert beach. It’s definitely not as beautiful as a tropical beach but it is a unique experience. The views are impaired by what looks like fog but it’s sand in the air. You need shoes to walk on the ground everywhere, even the sand, because the ground is so hot. We barely saw a soul in the afternoon and very few of the beach market shops (tents) were open, probably because it was brutally hot. There were a few more people out at night but not many. We were surprised and disappointed that security were constantly asking us to put our masks on outside on the boardwalk. As if it weren’t hot enough already! Some of the indoor/air conditioned shops were open in the day but more seemed to be open at night. All restaurants were open in the day and at night. Many of the food/snack stands on the boardwalk were closed during the day and more were open at night. At night lots of carnival type attractions/games opened in various areas. Masks required inside all restaurants (until you sit) and shops and while walking along the boardwalk. I don’t know if they would have required masks if we were actually on the beach. It’s a nice area with lots to do. Just too hot to enjoy for long and we were annoyed with constantly being hounded to put our masks on outside.

During my visit, I noticed that some couples were using the beach as if it were a private area, which made it less family-friendly. This may lead to discomfort or awkwardness for families with young children who are looking for a more inclusive environment. However, despite this drawback, the beach still provides a pleasant setting for night swimming and offers adequate facilities. Families may want to visit during earlier hours or consider alternative beaches with a more family-oriented atmosphere. During our visit , we encountered a disappointing situation when one of the staff members prohibited us from using the sun beds at midnight, despite the area being empty and no one waiting. The staff member claimed that the sun beds were reserved for elderly individuals or those with disabilities, which seemed unjustified. Consequently, we had to settle for sitting on the rocky area with our children. To our dismay, shortly after, two young ladies occupied the same sun beds without any objections from the staff member. This inconsistency in enforcing rules left us feeling frustrated and excluded.

very nice weather, very clean, well improve beach park very good for picnic, gathering, family, kids, relatives, friends, workmates, outing, outdoor activities, very cool weather, wuth flying birds, fresh air, very nice view of Four Seasons Hotel, Burj Al Arab, and Bulgary Residence very nice bridge connecting with the Jumeirah Road going to the sea, very accessible area, very good as well for kayaking activities, open early in the morning til evening, with life guard roaming around for the safety of the people, safe and secured very good dubai municipality service roaming around the area, checking the surroundings and the people, its allowed to bring chairs and folded chairs and tables, its allowed to bring food, fresh fruits and cooked food, good for bringing ball games, volleyball, soccer, badminton, available playgrounds for the kids, and for nannies to stay with the kids, parking and walking aeea is available.
