Had a very rude experience with the female cashier this evening. I wasn't asked for a currency conversion, like stated in the credit card slip "I accept that I have been given a choice" - NO, the cashier simply assumed without asking that my card should be charged in EUR instead of AED(DHS) and with that I was charged extra 6,99% markup for currency conversion! I asked for a refund and she responded she can't refund anything, while in the Carrefour policy is stated clearly "1 week exchange / refund upon approval"!!!

When shopping here have a look at the terminal they charge your card with, not the extension only.

Also, the entrance of the store os from Al Suwayeb St. The address wasn't correct at the time and I submitted a change so if anyone follows Google Maps hopefully you can rrach ot if you need daily groceries, just make sure you check the correct price tags due to misleading placements as well as how much you pay when...

cashier Hashini Nimasha is extremely rude this afternoon lol she gives me orders and insiists that I give her plastic bags when I have my own bag, and not only that but the prices are usually written wrong and they refuse to take responsibility instead even the manager humiliates me and asks if I want 25 fils as the difference which is not even correct (the difference is at least 70 fils per kilo even though I had slightly less than that). The market is conveniently placed near the bay area but it's not very spacious and appears more like a warehouse for the products for another Carrefour near Princess Tower. The aisles are narrow and one might actually suffocate on the first floor. The items and varieties are limited as well to contain them in a small setting. Would prefer Spinneys which is nearby...
