I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service at this restaurant, which used to be my favourite Chinese spot. The food is generally on the salty side, but what’s far worse is their consistently appalling service. I hate coriander leaves and every single time I order, I explicitly request not to add them. My orders are always the same—literally copy-paste identical. Yet, the restaurant gets my order wrong 50% of the time. That’s not a small margin of error; it’s completely unacceptable.
I understand that mistakes can happen occasionally, but this is beyond reasonable. It has become a guessing game whether my order will be correct or not, and frankly, I’m tired of it. When I finally voiced my frustration to the staff, they didn’t apologize or take responsibility. Instead, they offered excuse after excuse, blaming the mistakes on their foreign workers, which is unprofessional and offensive.
The final straw was when one of their staff members outright said, “If you can’t accept, then don’t order from us.” That level of arrogance and lack of accountability is shocking. As a loyal customer who has ordered from them countless times, I expected better.
This restaurant’s food might have been good once, but it’s nowhere near enough to justify such terrible service and attitude. I won’t be ordering from them again and wouldn’t recommend anyone else...
Read moreIt's been a while since I've had some good Chinese food, and I'd like to thank Zomato for helping me discover this gem!
The interiours were cute and the restaurant had a very cosy ambience. When we sat down at our table, we received complimentary prawn crackers and black tea in a cute teapot! We ordered Prawns in Wasabi sauce, and believe you me it was the best prawns I've ever had! It was soft yet crunchy and the sauce made it tasty!
I ordered a Mint Lime beverage, but found out they've run out of mint and hence ordered a Watermelon Juice. It was quite fresh and refreshing! For the main course, we asked our server to suggest something good and non-spicy in Chicken. He recommended Chicken in Black Bean Sauce with Chicken Fried Rice, which was heavenly to say the least! The portions of all the dishes were huge (fit for two easily), and our server was sweet.
We received complimentary fruits at the end of our meal - watermelon and orange slices. They were really fresh and the best way to end our satisfying meal!
The only reason why I would cut 1 point is 'coz of the service, which was at a snail's pace. The food took extremely long (15 minutes easily) and we ended up waiting more than eating sigh Even though the food was worth the wait, they need to increase the staff or improve on...
Read moreA really horrific experience! Please avoid at all costs. Chinese customers were given priority, others made to wait. We ordered for starters Kung Fung (red rice wrapped around prawn), Jumbo Fried King Prawns, and for mains Sizzling Beef, sizzling spicy lamb and x2egg fried rice. I was quite surprised when they brought me the bill before they had served any food, I told them I would be paying after i finished eating.
Rice was heavy and obviously batch made not fresh at all. As for the egg, there was no egg in our egg fried rice. The rice lacked seasoning and was very bland. Sizzling Lamb certainly didn’t sizzle it was more glazed and very fatty. In fairness to the restaurant the sizzling beef was actually tasty and had a kick. Although it was meant to be a starter Sadly, I am unable to tell you about the prawns because the restaurant didn’t serve them to me until after 40 mins of my order. At this stage we had finished eating and we’re at the counter asking for the bill.
Quite shameful of the restaurant, they became quite aggressive and refused to waive the prawns although I had finished eating.
The venue certainly isn’t cheap, a...
