5point Review Activity Duration: 3 hours (Depending on waiting time) Ratings: 8/10 So as promised here is another review for the adrenaline junkies. Skydiving, although may sound like an extreme sport, is quite safe and filled with thrill and excitement. The Good: Everything about the process is simple and efficient from the booking and preparation to the routine and atmosphere on the day. The Skydive Centre is modern, clean, and smart. The video tutorial before meeting your instructor is slick and comprehensive and the waiting area overlooking the runway and landing area is glorious. The staff are friendly and professional. They will make sure you are safe and comfortable during your skydive and will try to make the whole experience fun and enjoyable. The safety standards are very good. The experience is exhilarating. You will freefall for about 60 seconds before opening your parachute and then sailing to the earth. The Bad: Expect to wait at least 1-2 hours from your check-in to your jump time, but I assume that is standard for all such busy places.. The WoW Factor: The freefall is definitely the wow factor of the experience. It is an incredible feeling to be falling through the air at 120 miles per hour. The feeling of freefalling through the air is unlike anything else. It is an experience that you will never forget. The views from the plane and during the freefall are incredible. You get to see the Palm Jumeirah, the Burj Khalifa, and the rest of Dubai from a bird's eye view. The jump is incredible and the footage and pics are awesome, after all, what good is an experience if you don't have pics and videos to brag about it. Money Matters: Skydiving is an expensive activity. A tandem skydive above over the palms (with photographs and video will cost you costs between AED 2500 - 2700 (depending on the season). Skydiving in the desert is around 500 AED cheaper but if you are going for it, why not go for the scintillating scenery over the palms. Honestly, the thrill, the adrenaline rush, and the fascinating views are worth the money The 5-Point Experience: Overall, Skydive Dubai is a great way to experience the thrill of skydiving. The amazing backdrops of Dubai Skyline and the Palms are a big add-on. One of the most picturesque spots to skydive and is very well managed. My Verdict: Highly recommended to anyone who is looking for an unforgettable experience. Here are some tips for making the most of your Skydive Dubai experience: Book your skydive in advance, especially if you are traveling during peak season. Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that you can easily move in. Bring sunscreen and sunglasses. Be sure to eat a light breakfast before your jump. Listen to your instructor and follow their instructions carefully. Relax and enjoy the experience!

Firstly, it would be a big review so please apologise me for that.

You guys are amazing. Had a great time here. Above all incredible and life-changing experience. I was confused between choosing Empuriabrava (spain) or interlaken (switzerland), but then I decided to go with you guys. And I think I made the best decision of my life.

The location, Palm, was superb. I cannot stop watching my video again and again (though UAE 🇦🇪 blocked my video on Facebook and Instagram due to the copyright issue and idk why). Anyways I would be uploading again once I exit UAE.

Taking about my experience, I booked at 8:15 am, I was aware of the waiting time so I prepared myself like that. Around 8:50 am, we’ve been called for briefing. (A bit nervous that time, risks, T&C etc😛). Finally, around 9:10, put our luggages in free lockers, and finally they assigned me my instructor Daniel (sorry if if I’m not wrong with the name, the one from Mexico) and Cameraman (the one from South-Africa). Daniel explained me all the instructions, and made me comfortable. All the fear has gone by that time. Now I was pretty relaxed, the Camera guy took my interview and finally we got ready.

Took the plane, as I was on the 2 number, so my instructor started doing pranks with the camera person of the first person. Now I was completely fearless. They made it so comfortable, in-fact for all of the other people in the plane too. Now it was my turn to jump, cameraman jumped first and then Me and Daniel together. And that free-fall of few seconds is something that words cannot express. It is a feeling that words can’t describe. 😍

Then, the camera guy took our beautiful pictures. Wow man wow! A special thanks to him from the bottom of my heart. Many doesn’t recognise but the camera guys at Skydive Dubai are doing an amazing thing. They are equally the real heroes even though they’re behind camera.

Finally, Daniel (my instructor) we did conversations in the mid-air and he made sure that I am comfortable, enjoying the view. And the real fun started when he started teaching me how to operate parachute. I learned a little bit how to move fast, how to change directions to the left to the right, how to hold the parachute, etc etc. All thanks to Daniel (the Mexican person).

To conclude, one of the best experience of my life. In terms of Security and safety, you guys are the best. Instructor was awesome, special thanks to photographer. Amazing videos, photos, and Instagram 1 min video.

Also, I kept checking when the videos, photos arrive, as I was a little bit impatient (and skydive wrote within 48 hours) but within 9 hours after I jumped, I received everything. Thank you guys once again for this experience.

Highly recommend skydive dubai to my friends and...

An amazing location, with an amazing crew and setup. Booked for a tandem skydive for Wifey for 0930 slot, Careem-ed our way there (location quite out of way, public transport unavailable), and was told by cashier counter that all dives are KIV-ed (due to wind conditions). This counter also offers you last minute add ons like 1min Instagram video (AED 100), selfie cam video (AED 250) strapped on your diving instructor wrist, with videos sent via email within 48hours of your dive.

We were offered option of full refund, or wait for weather to improve. We chose the latter, and were given a vibrating buzzer (and told to listen for PA system for updates), and went to 2nd level cafe to wait / chill / eat some light breakfast.

Cafe has a full menu, and offers alfresco dining as well (so you can eat and watch folks skydiving), so for folks accompanying someone else, this is the place to wait. Otherwise, you can choose to sit at 1st level and watch the folks interview jumpers for their video, or simply watch parachutes being kept. You can also venture outside close to the van pickup area to capture closer moments. Funnily, professional cameras and gopros are prohibited from being used indoors at 1st level, but your phone camera is ok, somehow. Hasn't the management @ Skydive heard of Leica lens in mobile phones?

Anyway, 90mins in, buzzer sounded (thankfully), and Wifey was off for her interview with camera man, hip harness setup, instructions / simple videos on what to do during the dive, meetup with instructor (can be male or female skydivers). Yes, 1 dive consists of your tandem instructor, and also your very own cameraman to capture your dive experience, including from interview to actual jump off plane, to skydive, to landing, and post-interview.

All in, it took slightly less than an hour from the time they did pre-jump interview, to taking the small van to the waiting plane (think there are 2 planes operating simultaneously) to Wifey landing on her butt in the soft grass.

Experience was priceless, and so is the price. However, can feel the vibes were generally positive, and it sure is a check off the bucket list for this jump. Skydive also has another location amongst the sand dunes, although the coastal one looks the most impressive.

Highly recommended for those seeking the high life (oun intended), and pls also consider adding on at least the selfie cam (for more video shots that can be combined into...
