This hotel is one of the best hotels in Dubai.

Firstly, I was welcomed to a very early check in at 8 am because we did not want to pay the extra night. The manager at the reception (Mohammed, and Osama) were of great help and service in assuring that we get the kind of accommodation that we needed. We checked in at 8:30 am and were guided to the rooms. I will be reviewing the hotel in multiple categories so please bear with me:

Size: The hotel is huge, covering maybe 300 meters by 600 meters of land and up until the ocean of JBR where you have incredible scenery and unmatched “vibes” as they call it. The plus side of the huge size of this hotel is a spacious lobby, and spacious rooms. Yet the downside is the walk from the door to the rooms. The hotel is split into 3 sections/buildings, 2 of the 3 sections can be walked to in the inside of the hotel without having to walk outside. While the last section requires walking outside and going down and up a set of stairs which is inconvenient in hot summer days. I believe the hotel is split up into 3 sections with each section being for a specific type of room.

Location: Far from the busy streets and honking horns of downtown Dubai. JBR is an incredible part of Dubai with luxurious hotels, amazing beachfronts and beach clubs, wide array of restaurants, and greta coffee shops. For a group of lads, staying in the JBR which is just a 20-25 min drive from downtown Dubai, and Wasl, is the best location to be.

Rooms: I stayed in a pretty big room (35 sqm) which was the super deluxe room. Lovely design, huge king size bed which is somewhat independent from the room making it seem bigger. 1 sofa with 2 armchairs around a coffee table. A balcony which looks out on the pretty noisy AC unit system for the entire hotel which is a downside. A lovely bathroom, with a huge tub, shower, and a bidet. A huge cabinet for all your storage. Realistically, this room is fit for 2-3 adults tbh. However, the AC produces a noisy tick every 3-5 mins which stays for 5 mins then goes away, but you can get used to it. The tv does not have any application options such as Netflix, YouTube, etc. which most hotel have nowadays. Other than that, the room is great.

Service: Here is where the hotel excels, 5 star service all the way through, from the cleaning crew to the reception staff, to the spa staff and the restaurant employees. The service in all sense of the word is outstanding.

Food: Here is where the hotel falls off a bit. The hotel is huge, meaning that there are multiple restaurants in it so no fear. However, the hotels food from the hotel’s restaurant is mid at best. I ordered meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner as to cover all basis. The in-room dining, and buffet which the hotel provides on all meal times is as I said, mid as best. However, a choice of 5-7 restaurants in the hotel means that you are safe from the mid food.

Fitness: The spa/gym are good, the spa has all amenities that you would need. As for the gym, it is a bit outdated and has old equipment, but one could manage a solid workout in it.

Price: The price of the hotel fluctuates depending on the season and other factors. However, what we paid for it during our stay which is supposed to be the busiest time of the year makes sense and is fair for what is provided. However, what you are not told is that to get breakfast it is 155 AED for the buffet per person. The in-room dining is just as expensive. Protein shakes from the gym are 40 AED, and a cup of espresso is 28 AED. Granted Dubai is expensive, however, do not expect to pay for all you need when you pay for the room.

Miscellaneous: As mentioned earlier, multiple restaurants, cafes in and around the hotel. Additionally, 1 mini market, and 1 beach clothes store. Basically, you have a mini mall in the lobby.

In conclusion, a great choice which I will definitely come back to later. Most guests here are tourists and are families since this hotel is sort of family friendly compared to other hotels in Dubai that are...

Our family vacationed from June 21 to June 28, 2024 at the Le Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa Dubai hotel in room 122 in the main building; the trip was booked through the tour operator Travelata.

At the hotel, the reception was warmly welcome (the administrator Shenal speaks English perfectly, without an accent), gave my daughter a backpack for the beach, the staff brought free soft drinks as a treat, the staff speaks English, for Russian-speaking holidaymakers, Russian-speaking staff are invited to the reception. Of course, at the check-in, the administrator offered to upgrade our room category for an additional fee, but we refused, we only paid the tourist tax and did not pay a deposit. The Russian administrator took us to the our room. In the room she gave us a full tour: bar - paid; snacks – paid; bottled water, tea, coffee, cookies - free of charge, what restaurants are on site and gave an indication of the cost, and also agreed about an extra bed, extra slippers and a baby robe for our child (all of this was included in the cost of accommodation). We are thankful to her for that. Our room was spacious, with a balcony. In the room: slippers, bathrobes, ironing board, iron, hairdryer, tea/coffee set, kettle, coffee machine. The room is clean, the bed linen is clean, without stains, without holes, soft, pleasant to the body, many pillows; there are enough towels, cosmetic accessories, and bottled water. The room was cleaned twice a day; in fact, free fruit was brought to the room every day. All the staff are smiling and friendly.

Separately, I would like to tell about the main restaurant with a Swedish food line (we only ate there, we paid for breakfast and dinner): the food is at a high level, there is a large selection, it’s tasty, the restaurant is clean. Free for breakfast - tea, coffee, hot chocolate; for dinner - only water is free; We didn't have any problems - we drank tea in the room in the evening. We ate in the morning and evening at the restaurant, and during the day we only bought french fries for the child by the pool.

I especially want to highlight the magnificent and delicious dinners: the grill cook is the best, the beef steaks (done to your liking) are a masterpiece, very tasty; Grilled fish and shrimp’s are a complete delight – juicy and delicious. The sushi chef also deserves a compliment, as does the baker who prepared very tasty pancakes. The waiter Yehan/Rama served us - attentive, fast, found an approach to the child so that she could eat with pleasure, and always greeted and served our table with a great mood and a smile.

The territory: large, well-groomed, birds sing, peacocks walk; the pools (there are 3 pools on the territory) and the beach area are clean, the lawn is green everywhere, mowed, there are enough sun loungers, large towels, in huge quantities. The toilets next to the pools with showers, a changing room, and a hairdryer were also clean, there were cosmetic accessories everywhere. Lifeguards were always present on the beach, near each pool.

Later we found out that you can get a free gift at the hotel - a bag for the beach, we asked at the reception , they brought it to our room, the bag is very comfortable and spacious.

Location: the hotel is located on the JBR beach (part of the beach area is allocated only for vacationers from the hotel). In the morning we swam in the sea and walked along the long coastline. Within walking distance from the hotel there are supermarkets, a currency exchange office with an acceptable rate, pharmacies, the Dubai Marina and Blu Waters are quite close. A taxi was needed to travel to the Dubai Mall, to the Burj Khalifa, to Hatboor-City and towards The Palm.

At the hotel we met many Americans, Germans, also were present Canadians, locals and Russians. The stay at the hotel was amazing, I liked absolutely everything, I recommend this hotel for a family holiday with children, because there are no disco, the hotel is...

Me and my boyfriend have just returned from a 10 night half board stay at this facility, and it will be an unforgettable experience. Everything about this hotel is perfect, there is not a single fault I could mention regarding this hotel. We will only be returning to this hotel for the foreseeable future, it will be hard to find a hotel that matches this level of service.

Not only is the facility and grounds outstanding but the customer service and hospitality provided is truly unbeatable. I would also like to mention a special thank you all the staff members that has made our holiday a home from home.

A massive thank you to Archer who went above and beyond from arrival to departure. Her customer service and personal skills are exceptional and will not be forgotten. Anything we needed at all, from opening a door to providing recommendations and even checking on us daily has been much appreciated. I really hope Archer is praised and recognised for her fantastic level of service not only by management at this hotel but from Marriott.

I would also like to mention Hitesh, for also providing an unforgettable experience. We were always greeted with a smile and Hitesh made sure he went over and beyond and out of his way to chat with us daily and make us feel comfortable throughout our whole stay! He really made our day everyday. I also hope Marriott can recognise him for his exceptional service.

All staff members were incredible. In particular Archer, Hitesh, Scott, Nick, Kelvin & Crescentia, but all staff really do need to be recognised for their continued hard work, it is hard to list every single person as it would be all staff.

For the facility itself, the rooms are superb, food is some of the best in Dubai, it’s clean and smells great. It has a fantastic beach area (along with beach staff) cold towels and ice lollies distributed daily. Many pools and on-site facilities such as play areas, volley ball courts and football pitches. I would also like to say the rooms are cleaned daily to the highest of standards, so a massive thank you to all of the housekeeping staff.

I recommend every restaurant on site, loved the Mexican and Indian, but the buffet is just of standard and has unlimited choices. Everything served was outstanding.

Again thank you to everyone at the hotel for your service and we will truly miss being on site but will be booking for next year.

I hope this review can help other potential guests make a decision to stay here, you won’t regret it!

Thank you to all staff and see...

I stayed at the Royal Meridien Beach Resort & Spa in Dubai almost every year for the past 5 years, and while there were many positive aspects in the past, this time I found the experience a bit mixed overall. The cleaning staff were fantastic. They were friendly, efficient, and kept our room clean despite the condition (one wall was not well painted, bath drain not draining well, and shower was not clean on arrival). The hotel staff working around the property, particularly the housekeeping team, were always polite and ensured that the rooms were well-maintained. However, the experience wasn’t as great in other areas. The rooms, unfortunately, seemed quite tired and in need of maintenance. It’s clear that the hotel is aging, and that really showed in some of the furnishings and bathroom fixtures. For a five-star resort, I expected a bit more attention to detail when it came to upkeep such as a smelly building entrance that I reported several times before it was addressed. The restaurant experience was another letdown. The staff in the dining areas seemed disengaged compared to what I remember from previous visits whether at breakfast or at dinner. The service was slower than usual, and there seemed to be a lack of care in the way tables were cleaned. I noticed that the staff responsible for the rooms and dining areas were often chatting amongst themselves, which meant they weren't paying as much attention to the guests. This was a far from the impeccable service I saw in my previous visits. As for the reception, it was a bit of a hit and miss. While some staff were warm and helpful, there was one particular employee—Novel—who appeared completely disoriented and unsure of how to assist guests not even reading the note in my file which shows my request for late checkout. This inconsistency left me with a sense of uncertainty about the hotel’s service standards. I really like the place as it is close to everything, shopping, transportation, pools, beaches and restaurants. But if service goes down then customers may not return. I appreciate the fact they accommodate late checkout in convenience room, celebrating birthday in the room unfortunately not during breakfast.

My wife and I have waited around 20 years to experience this resort, and we finally made the bookings for a week for the kids to enjoy. Upon arrival, the staff were warm and very welcoming, and very helpful. They only provided breakfast for my room, but when we told them we always stay at more premium resorts like JBH etc. they decided to add breakfast for my kids' room, which surely helped their cause. We were provided with upgrade rooms at the refurbished tower, which was nice and refreshing, meeting our standards. There are quite a few great restaurants in this resort, so your food options are on demand, which is excellent, but the price for food is another story. For South Africans whose currency is so poor, you might want to visit other offsite restaurants. The walk to the busy areas of JBR is short, up to 20 minutes if you walk to the other end where Sheraton is. You will pass a lot of food shops like junk McDonalds, Dave's Fried Chicken, to a little more healthy like Subway, so it's well worth the walk (not in Dubai summers of course, rofl). The pool facilities are amazing for both adults and kids, but I skip right past this and jump into the beach. It is a bit of a long walk, but once you're there, it's like heaven (for me) , jumping into the warm water (literally). A lot of water sports are on offer at decent rates, too. The resort was full of Europeans, and unfortunately, we encountered some problematic ones complaining to management that my kids were making noise. The same (racist?) people who were playing music loud past midnight. Lucky for them, they didn't complain to me , otherwise, they'd get a one-way ticket back to where they come from. All in all , it was a wonderful stay, and this is the one you'd want to visit if JBH is out of your reach. Why not 5 stars you may ask? They serve pork!! Interpret that how you wish.

A Paradise Found: Le Royal Meridien Beach & Spa Resort My recent stay at the Le Royal Meridien Beach & Spa Resort in Dubai was nothing short of a dream. From the moment I stepped foot into the opulent lobby, I was transported to a world of luxury and tranquility. The resort's stunning beachfront location, combined with its impeccable service, made for an unforgettable experience. The accommodations were absolutely exquisite. My room was spacious, beautifully appointed, and offered breathtaking views of the Arabian Gulf. The attention to detail was evident in every aspect of the design, from the plush bedding to the luxurious amenities. But it was the staff that truly made my stay exceptional. I must extend a special thanks to the reception manager, whose warmth, professionalism, and dedication were unparalleled. Their friendly demeanor and helpful nature made me feel like a valued guest from the very beginning. They went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of my stay was perfect, from assisting with my luggage to providing insider tips on local attractions. The resort's amenities were equally impressive. The spa was a haven of relaxation, offering a wide range of rejuvenating treatments. The pools were crystal clear and inviting, and the beach was pristine and perfectly maintained. The dining options were also outstanding, with a variety of restaurants serving delicious cuisine to suit every taste. In conclusion, my stay at the Le Royal Meridien Beach & Spa Resort was a truly magical experience. The resort's luxurious accommodations, impeccable service, and stunning location made it the perfect destination for a relaxing and unforgettable getaway. I cannot recommend it highly enough, and I look forward to returning in the future.
