My friend and I went for lunch and the place did not disappoint us! It is beautiful, the ambiance is great, and would be a perfect dining place during winter any time of the day. The staff are amazing and very friendly. They do provide valet which is a plus. One thing I would like to comment though is about the valet guy named Muhammad. We were ready to go after lunch after spending a good amount of time at the restaurant however when we went out, and had our cards given for our car, and we politely asked if we can sit inside for 10 mins, I had a sudden headache when we went out as at was 42 degrees and I didn't want to drive immediately, it is totally unsafe, not to mention it is absolutely boiling inside my car (or any ones car if the vehicle has been sitting under the sun, it is over 40 degrees!!) - Muhammad was insistent that we had to leave because he said we already consumed our time. We asked him again are you sure, its just for 10 mins and he literally said no and we had to leave. FYI There were 4 or 5 empty parking spots, it is a weekday at 2.50pm, it was not that busy. He practically ruined our experience, he is inconsiderate, discriminating and unaccommodating. If we are to come back, I wish to not see him again there, he could be rotated somewhere.

As we were leaving the restaurant, we plan to return and were raving to have more of our friends to join us the next time, but because of that experience I don't even know if I feel like coming back to the restaurant. That literally...

Business lunch

Beautiful restaurant in a great location. It was not my first time visiting l’Amo on Thursday, however on that particular day the overall experience was disappointing. My friend and I were passing by and decided to stop for business lunch. On the second floor we were greeted by Asian lady who seemed to be very distressed when we asked her why we could not sit outside. It was a windy day, not stormy though. When we got to the terrace, the hostess told us that we have to make our decision quickly because by the time we decide, all tables might be full ( there were only about 10 restaurants at the time). We decided to proceed indoors where one of the waiters brought us drinks menu. The waiter seemed to be frustrated why we were only getting water and we kept on waiting for food menu. When we asked again , another waiter did not look impressed when we asked for business lunch menu. We were rushed to finish our food. Whilst eating our appetisers, one of the staff members came to collect the plates despite the fact that we were still eating , commenting that we better finish now because our main is ready. We understand that the restaurant has a break between lunch and dinner , however we were not anywhere close to 4pm. The overall atmosphere seemed to be unwelcoming and uncomfortable.
