Just back from our glorious stay at Grosvenor House, and can not recommend it highly enough. We stayed in a Premier Suite and it truly was a premium experience. From the moment we came through the airport, meeting up with our hotel provided transfer (just the two of us, in a luxury car) we were treated as VIPs. The facilities at Grosvenor House and at Le Meridien Beach resort (where the beach is, and there's a free shuttle every 10 minutes until 1 or 2am) are incredible. There really is no need to go anywhere else (but of course you will, because Dubai is full of treasures!). Our room gave us access to the Level 5 lounge, which really was a special treat. Breakfast was served in there, and catered to any requirement or tastes. Afternoon tea, from 1400-1600 each day, offered a wide variety of lovely foods as well. Then, in the evening from 1800-2000 there were cocktails, wines, beers and canapes (all included in the cost of the room) that were ample and a really great way to start the evening.
Our room was just perfect. Well laid out, with every possible need already placed in the room ready to be used. Need a shoe horn, no problem. How about a razor and shaving cream? Yep. What about a bag for the beach? Yes, that too. Ok, no way have you thought about eye cream. Oh wait, you have! And the bed and pillows, wow! So comfortable. We normally get home into our own bed and are thankful, no matter where we stay, that we're back. Not this time, which is a bit of a problem!
So, facilities are great. Rooms are beyond comfortable and they've thought of everything. The on site restaurants were out of this world too. As restaurants only, Toro Toro was our favourite, but Siddartha was not far behind. As an experience though, Buddha Bar was our favourite. We went on Valentine's night, and it was the most special, romantic, evening we could have imagined. I don't really want to try and compete with that evening on Valentine's in the future, so it may be that we're now going back to Dubai every year!
I hope this review has helped you decide on your hotel choice for your visit to Dubai. If you're still uncertain, let me tell you about just a few of the staff that work at Grosvenor House. We were only there for 5 days, and we left feeling as though we were leaving our families until we are next able to visit them. Every person we interacted with was so friendly, interested in us as people and eager for us to experience the best of Dubai. Each time we came in to the lobby, the concierge would see us come around the corner and come straight over to ask how things were going, what our plans were and suggest how best to get the most of what we were planning to do (shopping, sight seeing, beach, etc..). Up in Level 5, Romel (guest services supervisor), really did take great care of us. He is a top class representative of Grosvenor House and Dubai. He took special care to help us enjoy our time in Dubai, helping us book meals and even arranging our travel back to the airport. We also wanted to take a moment to thank our room attendant, Austin. Spotless every time, and so friendly on those couple occasions where our paths crossed. Thanks to everyone at Grosvenor House, may we...

Pick up and return to the airport by Jiju in a luxurious hotel car a Lincoln Navigator it’s huge, breakfast in club lounge or Sloanes, afternoon tea and canapés and cocktails in club lounge at 6-8pm. The cocktails are amazing in club lounge. The staff in club lounge are so lovely Kavindi is such a hard worker, she is so lovely, great with guests. Letty is also lovely great with guests getting guests drinks and coffees and remembering what you have in the morning. I have to mention Romel, he is so lovely, always chatty, professional but you can also have a laugh with him. These are some of the others in club lounge that need a mention Fazal, Sanal and Saiman, great waiters serving drinks in club lounge always cheery with a smile. Yassim (manager) Club lounge Always greeted us, asked how our day was. Even shared a cocktail recipe, not tried making it yet. Club lounge have such amazing staff. We use tower one swimming pool. It’s great as you have sun and shade which is ideal in the Dubai heat. Bellivista staff at the pool bar are so lovely. Indu makes amazing Mai Tais for me, he is so friendly, have to mention, Derek, Daniel, Koko, Chandan, who served me up amazing cocktails and Ice cold water. Jestin the manager of Bellavista, such a lovely friendly guy gave my husband and I complimentary drinks. We have been coming to Grosvenor House since 2015. The service is amazing. Read moreWhat an amazing hotel in Dubai! If you’re looking to stay in and around the Marina/JBR area I don’t think you can beat the Grosvenor House. I enjoyed a 5 night stay at the hotel, in a corner suite room which was one of the best appointed rooms I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying; Byredo amenities, two large flat screen Tv screens, ample space and one of the best beds I’ve slept on. The staff at the hotel are so friendly, they make the effort to know your name and speak with you; remembering the little details and making your stay feel personal and special. The dining at the hotel is second to none whether it’s the buffet (top quality!) or one of the speciality restaurants or bars that are on the hotel grounds (Buddha bar and Siddartha lounge). The hotel offers shuttle service to the nearby Le Royal Meridien which allows you to enjoy the private beach access and outdoor pool areas during the day; these are regular and handy. You can also change it up and use their dining facilities if you’re on half board. I’ve stayed at LRM several times but now that I’ve experienced the Grosvenor House I wouldn’t hesitate to book this again as it’s a little less busy, the hotel feels a little more couple friendly and has less children around. All in all, I can’t recommend this hotel enough because of the experience and amazing staff.
The above review is from February 2023, I then stayed again in October 2023 and the following is my update:
We’ve stayed at the Grosvenor house before and because of the amazing service we experienced, it was always going to be here and nowhere else for us for our Babymoon. The staff, as always, were amazing throughout our stay - from surprising us with a display in our room of balloons, a cake and some bubbles, which were really appreciated. Nothing seems like too much hassle for them, they remember your name, they take an interest in you and your day and have great local knowledge. The rooms are large, the beds are super comfortable (the linen is almost silk like!) and the bath amenities are great. They just get the little things right - like coming back to the room cleaned but with little touches such as a bookmark placed on top of our books for when we go to the pool. Glasses/lens wipes randomly left nearby to our sunglasses. The food options are great - whether that’s the buffet option at Sloanes (where the seafood friday is amazing! Lobster, crab and everything else you can imagine!). But also the others - the options at Le Royal Meridien, Toro Toro, Bushra, Zengo etc. all superb. The freshly made food for breakfast and dinner are really good - can’t beat starting a day with a freshly made Dosa, or an eggs Benedict. I can’t wait to be back here again and experience...
