Just got back from a fabulous week here as a family of 4 (3 and 1 year old.) Wow what an amazing stay!!! ||Before we even arrived we had amazing communication from Jamila who gave us a discounted breakfast rate. We were able to check in at 10am instead of 3pm which was much appreciated after a long journey with no sleep! Our room was also upgraded to a 3 bedroom apartment and we had a wonderful welcome tray of fruits, cakes and watermelon juice for our wedding anniversary! And then we had the bed decorated with flowers PLUS a little teepee for our children to play in, a mini table and chairs set and they also sorted out some bed guards for our toddler (1 year old had a lovely cot.) What an amazing welcome from the housekeeping team :) ||Room itself was fantastic!! So immaculate and cleaned to perfection every day!!!!! Thanks Deepak and Devi and the rest of the team!! We all slept amazing, there was 3 en suite bedrooms, a huge living room with 2 balconies, kitchen with 6 bottles of water and tea/coffee provided. Also a washing machine utility room with another shower/toilet and also another toilet beside the kitchen!! ||The room was perfect for us!! It meant the baby could have a nap in peace in one of the bedrooms whilst the rest of us hung out elsewhere. Room is also very child friendly. Room view is spectacular of the marina! Cannot fault it. |Concierge/security/reception everyone was simply wonderful and sooo friendly!! This hotel needs to recognise their wonderful staff WOW. |Breakfast was also fantastic we enjoyed delicious pastries, cereals, toast, cooked options (including Indian choices) and lots of fruit/fresh eggs and pancakes. Coffee great too. Again, the staff are fantastic!!! ||Location was also fantastic right opposite the marina, supermarket next door. Lots of restaurants and things like gyms and spas. ||The only slight criticism is the traffic in the area due to roadworks :( it was so so bad but it cannot be helped. I believe that it will last another few months so plan well ahead for journeys!! ||All in all this was the best place that we have ever stayed and it made our holiday with young children a lot easier and...
Read moreI’ve been traveling for over 20 years and rarely write reviews, but my experience at the Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel in early December was so exceptional that I felt compelled to share it. From the moment we arrived in Dubai in the middle of the night, the hospitality we received was simply extraordinary.
Mehdi at the front desk and Arun welcomed us with warmth and professionalism, making the late-night check-in seamless and stress-free. We were absolutely blown away by the incredible room upgrade with breathtaking views overlooking the Palm – it was the perfect start to our stay.
The breakfast experience was equally remarkable. The ladies at breakfast were incredibly friendly, and the food was fantastic. The baristas crafted the most delicious coffee, and every morning, they went above and beyond by offering me a takeaway coffee – a thoughtful touch that truly made me feel cared for. Special thanks to Jane (Canada), Mercy (Jamaica), Croydon, San, and Mohak for their kindness and impeccable service.
We also had the dine-around package through the Marriott hotels, which I highly recommend. All three restaurants at the Dubai Marriott Harbour were exceptional, offering delicious meals and outstanding service.
A particularly memorable moment for me was when I accidentally left my phone in a taxi. As someone running a business in Australia, this was incredibly distressing. However, the security manager (Farooq, I believe) went above and beyond to track it down and had it back to me within six hours. I cannot express how grateful I am for his efforts – it was truly a lifesaver.
Overall, this hotel exceeded all my expectations. The staff made my stay unforgettable, and I want to extend a special thank you to Arun, Hira, and Muta Swami, who went out of their way to ensure everything was perfect.
The location, the incredible service, and the amazing experiences made this one of the best stays I’ve ever had. Read moreI almost never give reviews but couldn't not this time. This is our 2nd time at the Dubai Marriot Harbour. Our 1st was same time last year. The staff provides amazing customer service, demonstrating heartfelt customer care. ||We come to Dubai for a junior golf tournament that my daughter competes in. Last year when the staff found out why we were here they looked up my daughter to find some golf photos of her and created a custom welcoming card signed by all the staff as well as provided a special welcoming cake and fruit assortment. Made that trip so special and memorable (and honestly I meant to write a review then but life overcame me doing the right thing).||We are back again this year and unfortunately the night before we arrived in Dubai my daughter started feeling sick. When we made it to the hotel in the evening (after trying to complete a practice round) my daughter was really not feeling well. The front desk staff coordinated for a mobile doctor to come to the hotel to provide diagnosis and IV treatment. The staff on their own accord ordered up some warm teas for her, sent up a thermometer so we can keep an eye on her temperature (which was over 103 when we arrived), made some takeaway breakfast and sent up warm chicken soup for lunch. Exceptional care an attention.||In my work life I've spent more time than most in hotels and traveling around the world and I've had the opportunity to staff at exceptional places. And I've worked with and in companies that have excellent work cultural environments and poor work culture environments. The Dubai Marriott Harbour, without a doubt, has hit the highest level. You could pass off a single trip as perhaps an accident or good individuals. But two visits a year apart show this hotel has built a culture of excellence. This is a great tribute to both the staff and the leadership at this hotel.
