Al Khaima — Restaurant in Dubai

Don’t miss out on this incredible restaurant while you are in Dubai!

We have stayed at the Le Royal Meridien hotel in Dubai for nearly 6 months and Al Khaima has been, by far, our most favourite restaurant!

It is open to hotel guest but also everyone from outside.

The food is so delicious, the great variety of dishes is amazing, the staff is so friendly and attentive and the atmosphere is a comfortable/relaxing vibe. A big thank you goes to the Chef, the Manager, the waiters Ernesto and Khaleel but also the rest of the team! They all made us always feel very welcome. The restaurant has a big outside area, also offering sheesha (don’t worry, it won’ bother you if you are non-smokers, like us), and kids can work around if they don’t want to sit still at the table. Our favourite dishes are Hummus, Moutabel, Fattoush, Halloumi and the sea bass as well as Um Ali and Baklava as dessert.

Incredible buffet all around-

Went for the Ramadan buffet and was amazed by the variety of salads and main courses. The Shish Tawouk here was the best I had ever tried anywhere in Dubai. The one thing I cannot forget though is the mouth watering dessert. Each dessert had a level of richness similar to a rich chocolate bar. High quality, perfectly sweet, and just amazing. The lemon meringue tarts even had a bit of gold leaf dusted over the cream.

Only downside would have to be the service. Took time for the servers to bring us an extra table for our large group. They weren’t even willing to bring us one initially because “the restaurant was booked” despite the tables around us being empty for the duration of...

This restaurant is simply brilliant. During Ramadan there is a buffet from something like 6pm until about 8.30pm. The amount of food and the quality available is quite breathtaking. The a la carte menus are of course excellent but I think the buffet might even be easier ... especially if you are not sure of the names of all the dishes. The staff are superb, very friendly and helpful. Finally the chef. Chef Salah, is not only fantastic in what he does and has put a great team together, he is also incredibly friendly and approachable. As you can tell, I can't recommend this restaurant...
