About the only positive thing about this station is it's proximity to Union Sq, plenty of places to sit and have a coffee. The bad stuff... no information. There's a ticket office that shuts at 4, closed at the weekends, There's a portacabin on the main concourse which appears to be for the drivers mainly. No announcements, if your bus is canceled you're relying on a Stagecoach employee going up to the stance and telling the people there. If you miss this guy you'll get no info. The departure displays don't update, they're not live, your bus can be canceled and the display still shows it running. The stance numbers aren't properly visible from the walkway in front of the stances. No indication of where the airport bus departs. Read moreThe bus station is relatively organized and supports stagecoach buses traveling both North and South from Aberdeen. . I like that it had Union Square stretched to it, so one can grab something to eat or do a little shopping. The train station is also in Union Square, so it's a fantastic transfer location. There is a stagecoach bus (727) available to take passengers to the airport too.
However, the information desk inside Union Square tends not to be overly helpful, and the drivers only know about their bus routes.
