Having pre paid for a ticket online we had to get our own tickets printed, which is fine only 1 of the three ticket machines were working. We then went to go upstairs to purchase snacks, upstairs had no nachos so we waited in the large queue downstairs. We asked for Coors light to be told “the pump was playing up”
Once we got to the screen we noticed there was a child approx 9 months old in our screen. The film was rated 12A so this was strange. The people with this child thought it best to move the child from family member to family member who were all around the theatre to stop it from crying, this family also took up other patrons seats. I witnessed many of them receive refunds at the upstairs concession stand. One entire row actually walked out of the film before it ended. I can only conclude this was because there was a baby crying throughout. I asked a lovely gentleman at the concession stand for a number to complain to and he was so lovely, he actually knew what I was complaining about before I even had to mention. He told me that the staff had complained to management about this already.
This family (approx 25/30 people) spread all around the theatre cared for nobody, they vaped throughout the film and spoke loudly, passed bottles of baby milk amongst eachother (so to soothe the crying child)
At the end of the film it turned out there were TWO babies in the theatre and both crying.
Why should I spend my money here ever again. If the management of this establishment ever see this review I would endeavour that they respond to me. I have tried calling the number I was given to complain but to no avail.
Surely this cannot be common practice and why should this behaviour be tolerated.

Read moreI won Sky VIP tickets to see The Duke upon entering the cinema and as I was walking up the stairs I was shocked at how dirty the stairs where there was popcorn and bits of food stuck everywhere to them and it had been well walked in and obviously hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. The film was showing in screen one and I was very impressed at the seating it was very comfortable with reclining seats and it was very clean, I had decided to take my elderly mother with me and she too was impressed. We made ourselves comfy and settled in to watch the movie after about ten minutes my mother commented that there was a terrible draft which I noticed myself it may have been air conditioning but whatever it was it was freezing cold. To be fair it was a very cold evening outside and I had worn a large coat and woolly hat. After half an hour I had to put my coat back on then I put my hands into my woolly hat as they where freezing and my Mother also put her coat back on it continued to get colder and I put my hat back on, about two thirds of the way through the movie I asked my Mother if she wanted to leave as she kept complaining about the cold and that her legs had gone numb but she was enjoying the film so wanted to stay. This would have been a great experience except for the cold so just remember if you are going here visit in the summer months or bring a blanket and hot water bottle as they don’t seem to turn the heating on spoiling the...
Read moreWent to see Oppenheimer on Saturday 29th July, 3.45 show.
On arrival to the Cinema noticed a large queue downstairs for drinks and snacks. Proceeded upstairs at 3.30pm and a large queue at the upstairs Kiosk as well with 1 person serving and about over 10 people waiting. At 3.55 i left he queue as I still had 3 groups of people in front of me and gave up as i was worried about missing the movie as at the current pace was probably another 10 minutes at least to get served.
Really not good enough, the member of staff was doing her best, but other staff walked past and no-one had the initiative to see that customers were waiting and getting annoyed and to jump into the Kiosk to start serving people. When you are charging people £4 for a medium coke then really service should be better.
The VIP screen 3 itself was decent and the recliner seats get a 5* especially for a 3 hour movie, just a pity had to sit through it with no drink or snacks.
Car parking at Cityside isn't great either, very busy and congested, although that is not really the Movie house fault but would be a decision against...
