We ended up at an out of the way B&B that left a little bit to be desired. My significant other was not exactly pleased with the location so my response was to find a bar or something to take some of the edge off. This was the nearest bar we could find and we are very glad we did. The place had a pretty good selection of beer on draught and in bottles/cans as well as a pretty good selection of whiskey (and other liquors as well, but our focus was on whiskey). The vibe was great (we went when they had a band come in and play what I think is traditional Irish music no idea if it was or if it wasn't honestly). The prices are pretty reasonable for what you are getting, bartenders were all courteous and got us our drinks quickly. Can't say much else. We are glad we found this place. Read moreThis is my favourite bar in Belfast. Great selection of beers they always have a special cask from a guest brewery. The bar staff are really friendly. Dogs are allowed too which is an added bonus if you like the company or being your own. There is food served by The Grateful Bread and it's a very good menu usually find something nice to eat. I like the beef chilli on chips. Saving the best for last, plenty of live music to choose from Saturday afternoon club had a great selection of live performers my faves are the backbone blues band or Tony Villiers and the villains....
