Berwick-upon-tweed Beach Front — Attraction in Berwick-upon-Tweed

The rocks that are exposed at high tide are amazing and when it's a very low tide it's eerily quiet and atmospheric...but it's not a beach in the Aussie sense..we are used to pristine white sands and crystal waters to swim in and its certainly not that. And I really wish the Brits would stop dropping their full dog poo bags any old place and stop rubbising their environment .... having said that Berwick is a fascinating place with such a lot to see and enjoy....go for the history...

There are so many different aspects to Berwick-upon-Tweed I find it difficult to say which is my favourite, but I certainly enjoyed walking out across the Magdalene Golf Club to the Coastal path which gives great views across the beach and out to sea. This is a proper beach, just sand, rocks, rock pools and the sea! You can continue round from the beach and come in at the far end of the harbour. A very interesting...

Hidden away down the back roads off berwick upon tweed is a small free carpark. It has the lowery inspired on the sands seating stand and a lovely grass area and access to the beach with views of the lowery lighthouse .lots of rock pools and sandy beach. dog...
