I really don’t like to leave negative reviews on places but my experience here was really terrible. I also don’t want to leave a bad review since the waiter John was so lovely to us and did accommodate and apologise for the mistakes of the kitchen. We waited over an hour for our food, my jajangmyeon was cold and it was so bland I couldn’t taste anything. Korean food is one of my favourite cuisines and Ive had jajangmyeon ample times yet this was probably the worst. Another table also had left their noodles behind as well, probably for the same reasons. Secondly, we ordered the garlic fried chicken and it was literally raw. Completely pink on the inside, I couldn’t even bite into it because it was so raw. There was one piece I did eat which I regret doing because I felt sick the day afterwards. I didn’t want to complain about the jajangmyeon since John seemed busy managing all the tables by himself, but I didn’t have a choice but to mention the chicken. Thankfully he took it off the bill but I was honestly so disappointed. I hope some improvements can be made to the quality...

Being a regular customer I am dissapointed to leave a bad review but in this case have to. On more than one occasion the staff have been unkind. From a recent visit, my fiance has IBS so prefers to not order things that have lot of onion. However being a regular customer he thought it would be okay to maybe ask this time round? He requested if he could have a soup without onion and the waiter asked if spring onion was okay and we said that would be fine just go easy on the onion. 5 minutes later they made a joke about it right in front of us and as if that wasn't enough brought a bottle of stale water that was 1/4 full as if picked from another table, mugs had stains on aswell. My fiance was then told the soup is premade so they couldn't so he just said that it's okay i will order something else. Your business wouldn't be running if it weren't for your loyal regular customers. Treat them right and have some respect. Dude that was waiting that table that day...mate you have one job CUSTOMER SERVICE I suggest you learn...

Main reason for giving two stars = too slow... They took roughly 1hrs40min to PREPARE my order, so slow to the point that my uber driver had to wait with me T-T. I ordered boneless chicken with garlic sauce, kimbap, and tteokbokki. Boneless chicken with garlic sauce was quite good, id say definitely worth the price both in terms of taste and amount. The amount of rice in the kimbap was a little bit too much for my taste, they really put lots of rice and squeezed it which also affected the texture a little bit. So the kimbap was ok ish, not bad but not yummy either... For tteokbokki, I counted about roughly 10 ricecakes, but there was no egg at all, and no fish cake. The sauce was not too soupy (which is good) but still the taste was quite mild in flavour ( i dont think they were generous enough with the chilli paste and everything else :p). Overall, the packaging is good, the taste is decent buttttt the preparation time was toooo long...

Overall good. We went during lunch time so it was really loud and crowded. The tables are pretty close together and the waitress had to squeeze between. She was also responsible for everything except cooking so it was a bit hectic, definitely needs more employees. Had to ask for napkins so service could be improved. Only took photo of the fried chicken which we had with honey garlic sauce, really nice!! We had the lunch hour special which came into a metal canteen tray which was kinda cute. There's a portion of rice, miso soup with mushroom and a few sides including meat, potatoes, kimchi and vegetable pancakes. I had the bibimbap, very filling. I poured the remaining honey garlic sauce on top to make it more flavorful. Definitely a nice place for a nice filling meal, deducted a star cuz the kimchi was the blandest I ever tasted and it's not going to be the best Korean restaurant you'll go to but worth trying regardless. :)

This is the best restaurant in Selly Oak. The service is so insanely fast, it shocks me every time when they put food in front of me basically moments after I’ve ordered it. The range of food is amazing and everything is so so good. It is our go to restaurant both for ourselves and when people come to visit us in Selly. The prices are also so reasonable for the quality of the food and the service. Servers are always so lovely and atmosphere is always great whether busy or quiet. This is our favourite restaurant ever. We’ve been here multiple times and tried most of the menu. This time we had the kimchi jeon pancake and some chicken teriyaki skewers for starter and for main we had the pork sizzler and the spicy seafood ramen. All were super super tasty and will definitely be getting again.
