I have been going to Funderworld when it hits Bristol most years since its "Funderworld" incarnation. I have no idea why I keep going back other than pressure from children. Every year it gets worse, smaller and a bit sadder. No new rides for years. In 2023 there were fewer rides than 2022 and fewer than the year before. that. Some of the ride owners seem to have no pride in their business, broken components or features not working. For children under 1 meter the experience is a total waste of money as there are very few rides for them and a few of the rides that they could have gone on were closed the day we went. Also their wrist band system needs a bit of re-working e.g. My son met the hight restriction for Crazy Mouse (he was plenty tall enough). when we got to the front of the queue after quite a long wait the person on the ride said he had the wrong wristband and refused to let him on, even though I watched him allow other kids with the same wristbands on before. When I confronted him about this he admitted he had but said that he hadn't noticed until it was too late. This was a blatant lie. You either treat everyone the same or you treat some people unfairly. The Crazy Mouse owner should take note that they have a dishonest, lying half-wit ruining any sort of good reputation they and Funderworld had. I noticed a large proportion of the people working there had dead eyes and no enthusiasm. All in all it was a relatively expensive yet depressing experience. This travelling funfair is a shadow of the travelling funfair that used to hit Bristol years and years ago. The lifestyle seems to be sadly dying but the ride operators and Funderworld only have themselves to blame in my opinion. I won't bother again. My kids had a better time a short trip down the M5 to Brean. Puxton Park, Avon Valley, Noahs Ark are money better spent . Legoland , althugh very expensive, is vastly better for small kids. Personally I would be happy to see the back of Funderworld when once I used to love the travelling fair that hit the Downs in Bristol. Awful experience...

Read moreI had such a great time here, the theme park has loads of rides for teens and adults. Children too but not as much.
I was able to get on 7 of the rides in 2 hours including little breaks to walk around and have a breather after each ride! Each wait was about 10 minutes or less, I was lucky enough to get to each one before a long line had formed.
Great place to visit and i think the price is quite fair for the time, ÂŁ22 for 2 hours was enough for me personally, I paid at arrival. But if you want to make your moneys worth, you can go for ÂŁ21 something for 4 hours as said online.
I didnât go on the red devil or the other one as they had the longest lines! I did enjoy the free-fall and ultimate waltzer as staff were interactive. freak is just as good as red devil but less intense in its own way, I would have loved to try red devil though as you can face...
