What can I say about this location? Nothing but FUN to be had! My hand was torn apart, but only because I overexercised myself. Staff is knowledgeable and helpful. Will make sure you are comfortable. Observing other climbers on the difficult slopes was awe-inspiring due to the positive energy of the community. It's all true love, and it's easy to make friends because others are helpful with climbing and other skills. There are some difficult grades in the back of the room that are more suited for advanced climbers, but even novices can climb them as there is no minimum requirement level. Just require caution and adherence to the rules. The purpose of rules is to protect you and others from harm. You may bring your children there as it is child-friendly. They have children's climbing walls upstairs, and you can request a tour of the facility prior to paying to begin so that you can learn how it works etc. and begin feeling confident. If you really enjoyed going there, I would suggest paying on a monthly basis so you can continue to visit.

Last night, I went bouldering at the Ballroom Coventry. Unfortunately, I slipped and fell off the wall, but thankfully I didn't break any bones(thanks to the kind girl at reception desk who brought me an ice pack). However, I did strain the muscles in my left arm and suffer some soft tissue bruising. I've always known that bouldering is a dangerous sport, so l believe the main reason for my injury is that I couldn't adjust my posture in time while falling. But when I posted the video on social media, l received a lot of comments asking why the crash pad looked so hard and didn't seem to provide any protection. So, I called the staff to give them feedback, hoping they could make improvements to prevent future injuries. However, their attitude was extremely arrogant, and they told me that their place is very safe and that I didn't understand industry standards. They also stated that they would not make any changes. Fine. You have your choice and I have mine, personally l'll never visit again or recommend to any friends🙂

I have been using this wall now for 7 years, since taking my daughter there for the first time in 2018 (then 4) and my positive review still stands. I've been climbing for 30 years all over Europe and this is up there as a fantastic bouldering wall with great facilities for beginners to advanced. Big selection of walls from slabs to overhanging caves, mixture of holds emulating limestone to gritstone, thick and safe crash mats, regular route rotation, gym area, campus boards, moon boards, super friendly and accommodating staff, and overall a great atmosphere (particular fan of the drum and bass being played) with like minded people; all at a good price. No matter what level you are, highly recommended

Absolutely fantastic place. A friend brought me here 3 years ago and I've been coming here since. Ballroom is THE place to go, if you have ever wanted to try climbing or indoor bouldering. Wether you are a novice or an expert climber there is something here for you.

Ballroom use the V climbing grade system ranging from V0 to V8. The staff here have consistently been fantastic through my 3 years here. The staff are all climbers too, so of you ever get stuck trying to solve that tricky route you have been trying, then they will know how to help. They are all trained in first aid, and have

The sense of community here is by far the best part. Everyone genuinely wants the best for everyone else, it's very much a friendly and cooperative environment that cannot be matched.

There are gender dedicated changing rooms with toilets and showers. There is a cafe and plenty of lockers and cupboards to put your bags, coats and valuables into. During the summer it can get abit warm but there are 3 large fans to help alleviate that.

Don't worry if you don't have shoes or chalk, you can rent them here, or even buy them.

I have been to 6 other climbing gyms and this is bay far my favourite...
