Phat Buns what can I say about this place other than what some of these fake or paid for individuals haven't said already or are too afraid too say as they may lose their precious $$$'s or money off vouchers. I thought I would tell it how it was and to put things down as bluntly & succinctly as possible. No holds barred as they say to give an honest impression of this place, my 1st and last visit. We walked in only to be greeted by a huge menu with so many tempting dishes, in the end we settled on what we all wanted. Yet again I was travelling with my brother & my poor unfortunate niece who got lumbered to come with us through no fault of her own. The food arrived within what felt like seconds of us ordering. It was at that point we should have realised something was astray but no we blindly thanked the waiter & went about starting to consume our spread. What did I then find the chips were luke warm at best some would even say they were cold, but I thought I'd be generous. The brisket sandwich I was given had 1 melted piece of american plastic (aka as cheese) at the bottom on top of the warm patty, then the top layer had 2 un-melted pieces of American plastic with dollops of this so-called brisket which was ice cold just like the cheese My brother felt short changed with both the chips & the sandwich I had received & asked the waiter about both of them, we were then given a hot bowl of chips which were quite nice to be fair, shame our first plate was straight out of the freezer The sandwich we were told the brisket is pre-cooked & the American cheese was supposed to be like that, unmelted. This was a travesty to brisket giving it to us stone cold along with a warm'ish patty. Sadly I had to consume this as money is tight these days and we had no other alternative. The staff most certainly needed further training, I don't think they realise that food is supposed to be provided hot not cold unless its a shake or a drink. And then claiming this orange square of American is supposed to be left as if they just took out of the packet from the fridge. It seems they just provided us with whatever leftovers they could scrape together & give those to us as if we had been given the meals for free yet paid out a lot of money for. To top it all off they even left the front door wide open & we were greeted with constant streams of smoke inhalation no idea what we were taking it but it sure wasn't good for us, no heating either. Avoid this place there are plenty of decent burger places out there that pride themselves on good HOT food & good customer services. Phat Buns isn't...

One star is already very generous. For the sweet potato fries, onion rings and the drink.

The manager here was very direct and I had the worst restaurant experience ever.

First of all, there was a normal chip in my sweet potato fries.

The beef burger tastes like it’s been in the fridge for a long time and it tasted horrible like old mince. They said it was made freshly made on the day. Instead, I asked for a vegan patty alternative.

When the vegan burger came, they made a mistake. They gave me normal fries instead of sweet potato fries. So I had to wait more time.

Then I noticed caramelised onion was missing. So I had to wait again.

“Here’s your fries” is what the server said to me.

I noticed my bun was not a brioche bun that I ordered. So I had to wait again.

I talked to the manager and she told me I wasted food?! They did my order wrong!

ALSO THEY SAID THEY DONT DO REFUNDS?!

And then they didn’t give me my ketchup on my burger… and gave me a strange sauce?!

Manager told me to ring the head office and find it online. I asked her to find it and she took a while.

Head office said they can do a refund and then after he said Coventry doesn’t do refunds! Very confusing!!!!!!!!!!

I told them I am a reviewer on Google and the male worker said it doesn’t matter if it’s only one bad review because they got loads of good ones?!

Wow.

Finally, they said they will do my order again. And the vegan patty was burnt!! And on top of that the toilets are out of order!!!!!!!!!!

I paid £13.00 for all this. Not...

Phat Buns in Coventry is a fantastic burger joint that is definitely worth a visit. From the moment you walk in, the casual atmosphere and friendly staff make you feel welcome and at home. The restaurant is clean, modern and has a funky vibe, making it a great place to catch up with friends or enjoy a casual meal.

The burgers at Phat Buns are definitely the star of the show, and they do not disappoint. The beef patty is juicy and packed with flavor, and the brioche bun is soft and perfectly toasted. The toppings are fresh and creative, with options like bacon jam and sriracha mayo adding an extra kick of flavor to an already delicious burger.

One of the standout features of Phat Buns is the range of different burger options on offer. Whether you're in the mood for a classic cheeseburger or something a little more adventurous, like the 'Korean Fried Chicken' burger, there's something to suit every taste. They also offer vegan options that are just as tasty and satisfying as their meat counterparts.

Overall, Phat Buns is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a great burger in a fun and friendly environment. The burgers are juicy and packed with flavor, and the range of options ensures that there's something for everyone. Highly...

The lunch time deal £6 until 5pm is great. Specially I can choose from 4 burgers. Each burger on their own cost more than £6 after 5pm. The burger and chips were very tasty and burger itself was succulent. The staffs were polite.
