Initially welcoming and kind service. We were informed of a £20 for two deal when seated which we gladly accepted as wecame in for it. We double checked upon ordering that our items were included in the deal which we were confirmed they were. We enjoyed our food, which was really lovely. However, when we went to pay the waitress pushed the card reader against our phone which had express pay. This meant payment was taken before being shown our balance or on our terms, she then handed us a reciept upside down. They had upcharged us by roughly £8 more than the deal which I normally wouldve been sympathetic with if they had been apologetic or offered a refund. However, the staff refused a refund saying they can't take refunds, and got argumentative stating it was our fault. Despite this we had a good experience however the ordeal dampened the overall experience and ruined the service. I would have liked to return however this has made...

Visited Heavenly Desserts (Coventry) on the 8th of June 2025 in the afternoon.

When I was walking to this place it has outside seating arrangements. So I headed inside and noticed a sign. That you have to wait to be seated. The place has a nice interior and it was clean and tidy. I've noticed that there were a few diners inside. Someone finally came and he gave me a menu. The menu is quiet extensive, it came as a booklet form.

From the menu I decided to order the Double Milk Chocolate Cookie Dough (£8.75) and Duo of Macaron (£4.50). 1x Pistachio flavour and 1x Raspberry flavour. I wish I could say that the Double Milk Chocolate Cookie Dough was good, but I was a little bit disappointed. The Cookie Dough was thinly layered and it had too much chocolate sauce drizzled over. So instead I just finished off the ice cream that came with it.

As for the Duo Macarons, I preferred the Pistachio flavour over the...

We’ve eaten in a couple of times and although it’s pricey, it’s usually quite nice. However, I won’t be ordering from them online EVER again. This is the second time I’ve ordered and it’s been nothing less than awful.

I ordered a vegan crumble and custard. Custard was stone cold - I at first thought it was melted ice cream. And my crumble was black underneath. I could taste how burnt it was when I was eating it.

My partner had the raspberry and white chocolate cookie dough. Tell me why this was black round the edges, came with 3 sad looking raspberries and was rock hard. I wish I could upload the video of him knocking it with his spoon because it looked and sounded like literal cardboard.

It’s fine if you want to eat in - the food can be quite nice. But to spend just over £20 on two tiny little tragic desserts is robbery, and to have this happen to us twice...

For what you pay, it’s as expected or better on some occasions. But it’s never below what you’d expect. Consistency is key. And they’re consistently good or above. Must say the coffee is always good as well. The service is always impeccable though. I don’t really like desserts all that much, but my brother likes a good dessert now and again, and when he goes, I tag along. Most of the time, I just want a coffee, but because of the impeccable service of Vikas and others, it’s always been the way I end up getting something. Well done to HD for getting that out of me! Never finish the dessert or coffee, but that’s a small appetite thing, haha! For what it’s worth, there are more expensive dessert places in the world, and although I’ve not been to all of them, I’ve been to one or two, and this place beats than on more counts than one. Service and care is always A1 👍
