Lovely little garden to walk through.
Lots to see and do in a short space. The main walk is very pushchair/wheelchair friendly.
There is a fenced off park just after the jubilee bridge, and lots of seating places along the way.
There are steps off the main path, up to the walls and giddy heights and views over Matlock bath.
Plenty of tree climbing areas, seating all around the park, views up and down the Derwent.
Solar powered pedalo(?) and row boats to hire, another smaller park as you head over the second bridge, and some beautifully maintained gardens and ponds, full of frogs and frog spawned, we’ve even seen newts in there a few years back. Lots of wildlife to bee seen and areas to reflect of life and photo opportunities!

Literally people spilling out onto the streets with beers etc. None of the chip shops or ice cream shops take card, cash only. Yes, it's the 21st effing century and they don't take cards??
There is only one reason for that you tax dodging freeloaders. Oh, and the one ATM charges for cash withdrawals and doesn't actually have any cash in it.

From one side of the river you can take in the lovely scenery of the area while enjoying the peace and it's beauty, or even cross over to the other side to check out the shops, bars, cafes, plus row upon row of bikes all parked up by the visiting bikers who love the ride here.
