Fantastic day out with so much to do.
The Saxon church hidden is an absolute must visit. Very beautiful and a lot of information.
The castle itself is stunning and steeped with art information and history.
It's not a massive climb to the top and the panoramic views are spectacular.
The museum is packed with information and history with some wonderful artifacts. We will return and want to take it all in again.
We didn't manage the cave tour due to the kids not wanting to do it however we shall next time.
The grounds are dog friendly and the cafe had a great selection of hot and cold drinks.
The gift shop was reasonably priced and we took away some mead and spice toffee apple cider for around £6.50
The kids loved the air defence and walk around the wall.
Dover Castle really is a must day out...
