Food is not at all good, simple Naan bread itself is pathetic....i would definitely not recommend anyone to visit this place....
Here is the response to Atithi owner's reply: We are really surprised to see such a disrespectful reply from you.
1)Firstly we had have ordered 8 Naans not for 3 persons but for 5 including 2 kids, that shows how attentive you are and not even noticing your customers.. If you had noticed, you could have found leftover Naans which we could not even eat. 2) we agree that we asked for spicy recipe but as a good chef you need to make it spicy according to the menu or recipe. Like we ordered Choley Atithi and you had made it spicy with purely Black Pepper, Just FYI in any Choley recipe black pepper would never be used to spice up taste rather it would be always be spiced with green chilly or red chilly powder. Also we ordered Paneer Tikka Karahi Masala which was also horrible. It was having plain red gravy with Paneer in it. But actual recipe is such that it would have cubes of bell pepper, onions, tomatoes grilled which is added to the gravy. 3) Thanks for your advise to have a hobby but NO THANKS. We don't need your advise.. 4) The comments you mentioned not to visit again shows your BAD hospitality and humanity.. Hope you know the meaning of "Atithi", you should respect and respond to customer...
Read moreWent for the early bird, which states outside any two courses for 9.99 apart from seafood and one other particilar dish. Spent ages outside checking the menu. Once inside i informed the waiter that we'd like the early bird. He then said that half the menu we couldn't have including the bryannis. Then said only choose something that was 7.80/7.20?? After poimting out this was different to what said outside!! (Fair point) i was made to feel unreasonable (which made me feel stressed) although he mentioned theyd allow us to order anything for goodwill. (apart from seafood etc as said outside) However the whole experience was messy, didn't seem right and they didn't acknowledge things were wrong. Left as felt disharmonious and dodgy.
Added edit as since this the owner of the restaurant has actually tracked me down on Facebook messenger and personally attacked me. Apparently i have "too much time on my hands" am "a difficult person to be around" I only met the guy for two minutes and explained that we were unhappy with the misinformation outside and i wasnt happy with his response which was to make me feel unreasonable!! My friend was actually the one who insisted in leaving and thinks this mans behaviour is very wrong!!! We shouldnt be tracked down and abused for leaving reviews which are negative but genuinley reflect our...
Read moreI only gave this place one star because it won’t let me post without it. My family of seven (including me) went to this place for dinner. The biggest table there was occupied with another group at the time so we waited for a while for it to get empty. After it did, it was naturally messy and a Peter came to clean the table for us. My old grandfather noticed that after sweeping the floor, Peter did not wash his hands before bringing our cutlery. My grandfather asked him very politely if he had washed his hands and he chose to answer back by saying yes I will go take a shower after this and continued saying that we eat at different places, how do we know if they wash their hands and where all does the food come from. SO IF YOU WANT TO EAT DIRTY FOOD, GO HERE. ABSOLUTELY BASIC CUSTOMER SERVICE LACKED and it was highly disappointing. When we questioned Peter at the way he replied, he said you don’t have to eat here, you can leave. CLEARLY VIOLATING THE NAME OF THEIR RESTAURANT- ATHITHI which means guest in Hindi (and Athithi deva bhava which means Guest is god). Another staff member came outside when they heard the chaos. The other staff member tried his best to understand the situation and help us but Peter still did not keep the audacity to apologise. HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED WITH THE WAY WE WERE TREATED. NEGLIGENCE OF HYGIENE AND...
