This attraction sits at the entrance to Blackpool Pleasure Beach and is advertised as a horror labyrinth. Only two of our party fancied it, and as a person who does not scare easily, I was sceptical.
We fancied some ghoulish gore, though, and bought tickets: £14 each, and we got in line. We had a bit of a wait (because only 8 people were in the attraction at any given time) and were doubting our decision.
However, I’m very pleased to report that it was well worth the cost and the wait. For anyone who enjoys a good scare, this will do the trick. I’ll tell you why.
👻 The premise is simple: It's a horrific labyrinth that you must escape. You are the protagonist. There is no guide when you enter the attraction. 👻 Groups of eight people travel from the point of entry and must find the exit. There is no turning back. You must all stay together. 👻 I just happened to be in front. Therefore, I was the group leader. No mean feat as it is pitch black inside. 👻 It is extremely well organised, with strict rules regarding phones, lights etc. 👻 Live actors set the mood whilst instructing the group, amping up the fear factor with their terrifying appearance. 👻 Once inside, you must move through various areas, each with its realistic depiction of horror. 👻 Live actors appear with a realism seldom seen outside of horror movies. 👻 Scary props, scenes, and the soundtrack added to the terror; I couldn't tell how much of the screaming was from my group!
Without giving any more away, I can guarantee you that THIS attraction lives up to the hype. It's not for the faint-hearted, though, and definitely not for children.
It's on my top 10 attractions in...
Read moreWent through this with my girlfriend mid May when we went to visit blackpool for a short break.
I had been through the one in the Trocodero in London many years ago, and I really enjoyed that one from what little I could remember from it. So I had high expectations of the Blackpool version.
My girlfriend had never done Pasaje before but had been through other scare mazes with me during Halloween nights at tulleys farm.
I don't want to give many spoilers away or characters used but we really enjoyed it, it was very tense, and unsettling even from the very start going down the creepy steps before the knock on entrance door. What made it more intense was because of social distance it was just us two going through which made it more creepy and more alone when we was slowly but with pace going through the maze. The sets and costumes are very good with great detail. New and old horror films used to great effect. The hallway part was very chilling and terrifying. It's a shame at the end the bar wasn't open as we wanted a drink afterwards to calm the nerves and also watch other people run out in screams. We did later on in the day walk back down to the bar and we did wait for a group to come out the end and hear them scream as they came out which was fun to see. The whole experience makes you feel like your in the films and I would go again in other cities if I have the chance to. It was a good add on for a day out at blackpool...
Read moreMy 9 year old son begged me for 2 days to enter this attraction….2 days!!!
After visiting this place over 10 years ago I tried to dissuade him to no avail as I knew exactly what to expect
I begrudgingly paid for entry for the both of us
After queuing for a whole 2 mins he changed his mind quickly, I assumed that the 28 quid I had paid would be lost so I then decided to go in while he waited with his mum
The guys on the front then told me if I changed my mind as long as I didn’t enter I could have a refund of the £28 I had just paid
Amazing service truly amazing - they didn’t have to even mention as I had already assumed I had thrown the money away
Haven’t written a review in years but felt obliged to do so on the basis of the service I had received
Many thanks as they could have very easily rejected my refund which would have left a sour taste
That’s how to treat customers young and old
I found nearly every establishment in Blackpool use any trick in the book to make customers pay more for less
Not this place
Keep doing what your doing and I expect my son to see enter this attraction in...
