Read moreThe best thing about this place is the colorful pebbles. This is probably the nearest sea beach from London which takes around two hours drive. If it’s sunny day and weekend then it is good to arrive as early as possible because it will be very difficult to find a parking space later in the day and also as the day grows there are more people flooding into. Read moreI have a very biased opinion of beaches. Having grown up on the East coast of Australia, nothing can really compare. Brighton beach wasn't too bad for the UK though. The waterfront structures we're obviously run down and past their prime, but this added to the charm. It seemed surprisingly clean on the actual beach, but very crowded.
