Coronation Park — Attraction in Great Britain

A lovely little public park, with some beautiful carvings setting off the sweeping view of the river. Berwick is a wonderful town and this park is a superb stop off - you don't need loads of time, we probably spent twenty minutes here (it was quite windy on the day!) and the kids loved examining the excellent carving, and learning something from the engravings on them... Nestled in a shallow valley leading down towards the tweed valley and with a good view across the river, this park is relatively small but pleasant. The park contains a number of carved wooden animals which make it worth visiting if only to see them. From the lower part of the park a path leads down to the riverside walk along the Tweed. Coronation Park is a park located at the bottom of a hill that takes you to a walking trail along the River Tweed. Where you can get nice views of the Royal Border Bridge as well as the ruined Berwick Castle. It's a small park, but well maintained with a few flower beds and plenty of seating, a few of which are sheltered.
