Considering that the last time I'd visited Parc Tawe Retail Park (a couple of years ago) the whole area had been looking really "down at heel", it was a real thrill today to discover what an excellent overhaul of the shopping area, its mall, and in particular, "Plantasia"** had been achieved by Parc Tawe's new management team; a first class change of direction, appearance, and altogether an area that both residents of Swansea, as well as visitors to the area should greatly appreciate.
Although I have only given a 4 star rating, that is only because there are still a few shops awaiting new tenants, but I am sure that once all of the remaining shops are occupied, the footfall in the redesigned Parc Tawe Retail Park will greatly increase!
Re "Plantasia"** If you want to see and experience just how much Parc Tawe' has changed, you just HAVE to visit the keystone of this Retail Park and see for yourself what has been ploughed into making the place so much more interesting, attractive, and both children and adult friendly! It's a real treat; in fact, it's absolutely fantabulous! so what are you...
Read moreDo not park on north side found out the hard way when parking 3 hours after the web page puts all of the retail park as 4 hours. After I phoned the staff a parc tawe they said a man in a shed with no phone who had finished for the day in which they had no number for. Use the city center as it is free on Sunday no time limit leave the retailers sweat due to the land OWNERS greed that is the day I had the charge Sunday. Karma will catch up soon hope the company gets closed down premier Parking are nothing but sharks.
PCN sent through post after using shops on both sides there is work going on so most signs are part covered and a BIG 3 hour sign should be placed up as you drive in. So be careful this christmas when using 3.15 hours go quick when you are using the shops unless they expect you to move your car to the other side that way you could get 7 hours free as different companys given contracts for the site. Great shopping just a shame regarding the parking system used. Just use the city center on Sunday and cut the land OWNERS free...
Read moreTook the family to Ninja Warrior and stayed for 2.5 hours. Me and my brother both got £100 parking fines. Didn't see any signs about giving car reg details to the staff, weren't told about it either. Appealed the fine and because I was able to provide proof that I was using Parc Tawe retail facilities at the time, Eternity Parking agreed to reduce the fine to £20 - although it should have been revoked altogether in my view. Went to pay the £20 on their site but the charge was still £100. Phoned, emailed etc. but was ignored and threatened with legal action. With mortgage rates so high atm, can't afford to risk a poor credit score so I paid the £100. It's disgusting that Parc Tawe have chosen an unregulated, cowboy 'company' to scam local people who go there to visit retailers like Ninja Warrior and the cinema, where typically you spend longer than 2 hours. Give your car deets in to the retailer if you are visiting, or better yet, don't bother. Tried my best to speak to Parc Tawe about the issue but they ignored...
