Not good. Looks interesting from the leaflets and pictures online but really not that great inside.

It's quite dated and a lot is broken or damaged. It's also very small so only allow around 30mins and that's waiting in queues also.

It is very busy so you have to wait in long lines to see the next thing that more often is just a picture on the wall that contains 2 images into one.

People are everywhere so whilst you are looking at one thing, someone or a child will jump in front of you to take a look at the same time as they don't enforce a one way system so children are running around everywhere and people just skip ahead to the more interesting stuff.

The one main room thats meant to look like you are walking on the wall, the camera was broken so was pointless as you could not see the effect.

There's a large section dedicated to 3D pictures, you can see those in any gift shop.

I know I sound like I'm moaning but to wait in queues, to get crammed into the place and then fight your way around broken and hardly amazing things was not my idea of fun and wished someone left an honest review before I went so hope this also helps others out. Its not worth a...

I was not expecting much from this place knowing how cheap the tickets are, I thought it would be a ten minute walk around, nothing special, but I was so surprised by how good this place is! The staff are really friendly and there are a lot of Covid precautions in place. Even though it is no longer mandatory to wear face masks in public spaces, it is still required here. This was no issue for ourselves, but I thought I would mention it because we had to run back to car to grab ours. As it is an interactive museum, there are also hand sanitisers everywhere and are asked to keep your distance from other guests.

The museum starts with optical illusion section which is very engaging as you want to try each one. As you walk around there are a selection of rooms which have different illusions to try out. There is one room which is crazy surreal and affects your whole body, I will not explain how or what it is as do not want to ruin the experience.

Overall, this place is really fun and incredible for the amount you pay for a ticket. Fun for all ages, would...

When in Keswick, this is a place that needs to go on your list of places to visit.

Located in between the well known Lakeland Toys and Hobbies shop, you could be forgiven for walking right past it, not realising it was there. Head up the stairs and you enter a place of puzzles and illusions.

The shop allows you to buy a range of puzzles and illusions as well as a host of other gifts too.

The price of entry is small, considering you can take as long as you like in the Puzzling Place as you work your way around the illusions presented to you. We spent an hour checking out the illusions, gravity room, hologram room and much more.

This place comes recommended if you have some spare time on your hands when in Keswick and need to entertain the younger ones.

I just wish I had one of those magic mirrors in my house that makes...

This place is pretty neat for how little you pay to get in, fun and quirky things await. You'll go through the tiny door and up a long set of stars, into what looks like the gift shop. There is a counter and you can pay for entry via cash or card, we paid £7.50 for two adults entry. Then you go through saloon doors. Optical illusions playing on your perspective of distance await with three practical areas where you can take some cool selfies, the door one was my favourite! Not fab if you have mobility issues as long stairs with no other option, there is no food and no loos but plenty of cafes around to visit. Great for kids but quite warm as a loft (we visited during the current heatwave) seems to trap heat.
