Windsor Castle Parking Lots — Attraction in Great Britain

Absolutely awful scam. I used to park here every time I went to the Greek Restaurant across the street and will now avoid at all cost. I bought a ticket for 3h, put it in my back window (because I parked forward and the front of my car was by the wall, so I left the valid ticket visible out to the rest of the carpark). Got a fine for "not displaying valid ticket" and my appeal was rejected. Even though the photo THEY took of my car HAS THE TICKET INSIDE my car. I showed them a photo I took at the time of parking with the ticket inside, I showed them the photo they took, the bank statement and ticket itself - yet they still rejected my appeal. I will be taking it further to the independent body because this company is a scam and needs to answer for their irrational...

It's a TRAP. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Private parking that is designed to milk people for money. FIRST SUPER EXPENSIVE Only allows you to pay at the machine (no pay by app) SO HE CAN TRAP YOU IF YOU ARE A COUPLE OF MINUTES LATE HE ISSUES YOU A TICKET. Literraly couple of minutes late and the guy seen me sprinting and he sprinted to the car to take photos and issue the ticket.

Save yourself the money and park William St car park in SL4 1BB ( 8 minutes walk from here). Cheaper, more secure, plenty of parking spaces and you pay by app.

Farce of a car park. After paying 17 extortionate pounds for 5 hours, to park there. We return to our vehicle a hour and half early. As we were departing we were stopped by an elderly man claiming to work there. He went on to request we hand over our pay and display ticket. We found this an odd request as it was our only proof of purchase and date/time. When challenged about it. He turned aggressive and behaved strangely. Trying to insist we hand it over. We refused and said we were being rude. However it was his odd request that made us question his overall motives. He threatened to take down our reg. but we drove out and he began blowing his whistle as if we had committed a crime. It was the strangest experience. Private parking...
