Went in today to have a quiet word with God. There were two volunteers in the church one of which slammed down a collection plate at the end of the pew and on the shelf in front of us was donation evelopes seemed the only thing that was wanted from us was money much like Ofgem who have turne d most people's lives into poverty. Felt not welcome and left more upset...

Peaceful and beautiful. Nice and warm. Lit 3 candles for my nan, my friends mum and also my friends nan. Warm and welcoming. Thank you for the wonderful visit . Nice to have the church open and able to freely walk and relax. Very much looking forward to being able to come back again. Posted a couple of pictures...

Disappointed to find out that this was not actually a temple dedicated to the Ancient Greek god of wine. Different spelling. Instead it was built to honour the Christian god of wine (and bread) Jesus, who could make the stuff out of water apparently. Wine served every Sunday. Water provided in a big stone bowl...
