For a dog friendly bar, this was not dog friendly. We took our puppy in and this was not suitable for dogs, steep stairs and high tables make it impossible to interact with your dog.
When we order our two bagels my partner ordered a salmon bagel to find a black hair in the crème cheese, and I ordered the breakfast sausage bagel which was over cooked, the patty was clearly frozen and not fresh, as a former chef I could tell the patty was reheated and who over cooked this knew this from the over compensation of rocket to hide the burnt and dry prices was a major give away also the bagels were slightly grilled not toasted and which the over use of crème cheese and ketchup made the bagels Become soggy.
Our drinks were flat and could tell it was the cheap soda syrup they had brought in. For the price we payed me and my partner were extremely disappointed especially as this was our first meal out with our dog, and with the over use of inscence sticks and with the very strange back ground music really put us off and won’t...

We used this venue’s private, top floor space for a 25th birthday before going to a club and the space was perfect for what we needed.
We were able to enter the venue during the day to set up balloons, signs etc. and arrange drinks to be ready there when we arrived. The team locks the door whilst you are not there.
You are able to listen tunic from the DJ who plays house, disco and other genres OR take your own speaker and play your own music.
The team were fantastically accommodating, any wine which we ordered and ended up not needing, we were able to trade this back to the bar in exchange for beer etc.
Overall a great experience from texting Stu the Owner, to the team, the service and them taking care of all the cleaning up after.
Thank you and we really recommend anyone who wishes to...
Read moreThe Doghouse Bar & Bagel shop, we went in hoping to find a local delight hidden away on a street that you wouldn't expect, however, we were quite disappointed by the food and the drinks, the only redeeming factor being the delightful service.
I ordered the "belly buster" Bagel which I had hoped would be a larger portion with the slightly larger price tag, but it was about the same as the spicy chicken one that the gf got. The fish fingers in it were the cheapest bog standard birds eye fish fingers you get for £1 in Iceland. It was entirely underwhelming but, it was ok.
The spicy chicken Bagel, fell apart in her hands, mostly filled with rocket and a small amount of pulled chicken filling. It...
