We came here towards the end of the Summer holidays; we booked last minute on the day, 2 adults and 2 children and we were all so impressed. From the minute we walked in and were welcomed by Tia (who we ended up seeing at various different attractions during our visit), to when we finished mini golf, we really couldn’t fault it. We thought there would be long waiting times as we were informed it was quite busy but we hardly had to queue at all, amazing! First stop was the lazer quest, it was our first time doing it, it was brilliant, even just paying to use this would be money well spent, only downside is that it was just us 4 in there but we still thoroughly enjoyed it! Next stop was the bumper cars, we laughed the whole time, loved it! Following the bumper cars the children enjoyed the inflatables and we then went on to the mini golf, the scenery at each hole really impressed us all, only downside is the arguments that come with who doesn’t win 😜. All of the staff were friendly and at hand to help out and were everywhere so easy to find if needed, as I’ve already mentioned we saw Tia working at different points on our visit and she was so helpful so I just wanted to make a special mention as a thank you to her.

I wasn't sure what to expect when booking this activity for the kids. The place is clean and has electric lockers for £2 card payment. Crazy golf and a small cafe on the ground floor. Upstairs were the bumper cars, inflatable and jungle gym, and then a smaller frame for babies. The laser tag is also on this floor but in another room. It's a good experience, the children enjoyed themselves, although I guess i expected more, as in bigger. They state the inflatable as an assault course, its not really more like a bouncy castle with a slide. There are only two trampolines on the climbing frame/jungle gym thing and with the bumper car's you get 5 mins to try and maneuver something large in a small area. I assume you can go on as much as you like. The staff are helpful, I wouldn't necessarily say they ooze warmth and friendliness, though. Considering it was half term it didn't feel overly busy but we went early and as we were leaving it looked as though a queue was forming. So I expect the afternoon gets busier. The place is clean, kept the children happy for a couple of hours, not 100% sure if I would book again.

Not a safe place at all for kids. Specially the bumper cars. My boy nearly had his forehead split open as he finished the ride and ran back into a metal gate with no safety feature whatsoever and the staff instead of positioning themself by the gate we’re waiting behind the barriers. First aiders were helpful, but to my surprise almost week after the incident got a call today from them just to find out they haven’t done anything about that gate which is seriously a unavoidable risk as this door opens on the track(instead of opening outwards) and the kids have to dodge it to make it out safely. Places like this must be shut unless rigorous safety procedures are in place. I am certainly reporting this to the HSE after the update from a rude and ignorant manager(they say) who wasn’t willing to answer a simple question ‘ HAVE YOU CHANGED/DONE ANYTHING WITH THAT METAL GATE’.

DONT BOOK A PARTY AT HOUNSLOW FLIP OUT!!!! Honestly you'd do far better to just book in the children you want to come and host yourself as that is essentially what our experience was anyway. We had somebody check our names off at reception when we arrived, then tell the kids what was available at this location, then they were let in and that's pretty much where the contact stopped between the staff and us. We booked the standard party package which included "a dedicated party host, unlimited refreshments for the children throughout, pizza and crisps". The party consisted of two hours play and the remaining 30 minutes food in the party room, which by the way was really nicely decorated. We are still yet to establish who are host was. I had to chase 3 times for any juice or water for the kids after running around like kids do and being desperate for a drink, we finally got our first jugs around 40 minutes in. That disappeared very quickly so we spent the next 40 minutes trying to find anyone to request more, but everybody seemed a bit too busy and because I didn't know who my party host was because we hadn't been introduced, it seemed too difficult for them to find a way to facilitate us. It was truly bizarre. Time was nearing to when they should be leaving the play arenas to go and eat when we were expecting our dedicated party host to come and escort us to our party room. It never happened. We wrangled the kids ourselves and waited patiently for food. It arrived late, but arrived. A lady came and dumped it on the table and left. Nobody once asked if we had what we needed. We had no fresh drinks only what little was left from the previous lot. We desperately seemed for water and juice. We physically had to walk round the 3 storey building to search for anyone to help. The pizza serving was literally one skinny slither each.

I wanted to complain at the time, but there was an emergency as we left so thought I'd pick it up from home. That was nearly a week ago and nobody is still responding back to me from Hounslow either by call or email.

I'm so disappointed. The venue is amazing and the kids for the most part didn't care (except for when they were desperate for a drink). It just really was just an extortionate amount of money when we didn't even receive the basic level of service they were meant to achieve. Fuss free it most...

I have no problem paying the money, even more, but for the right experience.

  1. SoftPlay The softplay area was very boring, simple and unentertaining for my 4 and 6 yrs old (they usually spend hours and hours and we have to drag them out). This time after 10 minutes or so, they asked themselves to move on to something else. Soft plays are usually more rich, more varied paths and different levels of difficulty. This one was actually very straightforward, even I could venture without busting a sweat (and I dislike kiddies softplay).

  2. Bouncy Castle The only remotely interesting thing was the bouncy castle, though it is a bit nerve-wracking that kiddies, teens and adults all bounce in the same place. There were a few accidents involving my 4 yrs old with much larger teens, but luckily nothing serious.

  3. Bumper cars were also nice, but of course, not much place to go around.

4)Golf courses look great in pictures, not so much so in real life.

5)Arcade rooms, which was something looking forward to, was not really an arcade room. Just a few games (outside the perimeter actually), with coins, half not functional.

Paying for adults was an even bigger waste of money. Been to better golf courses, and unless you want a few seconds bumper ride and a bouncy castle type of experience, then there is literally nothing much to do for an adult, so not sure why it's even advertised :). Maybe for the laser tag, which we didn't get a chance to experience.

Plus, first place ever we have visited that someone tried to steal my husband's shoes :)

All in all, poor value for money in my opinion. I respect everyone has different opinions so maybe that is why this place was so busy, but to be honest we have visited so many greater, more varied places for the money and a lot more entertaining for the kids too.

In other places we had to drag them out after a full day on venue(7hrs+!), in here we left way before our session was up(2hrs) as they got bored and we long before that.

Neither 2 adults, neither the 2 kids enjoyed the session here too much, so sadly it will be a pass from us from now on, but it might be someone else's cup of tea judging by how busy and the good reviews it has which was part of the decision to give this place a try.

Won't...
