We visited the Windsor branch this afternoon for lunch. It wasn’t planned just an impromptu walk by , so we thought we would try it as we love South Indian food. Not much to say really apart from the food was absolutely fantastic, it was traditional , authentic south Indian flavours that you would get in India, the portions were exceptionally generous and the staff were absolutely amazing and so friendly and service with a smile. Hyder the manager was extremely friendly and you could see how passionate he was about his job. We particularly liked how well he was working with his team and the way he was talking to them was really professional and very nice. He was very organised and was making sure each table was attended to in a timely fashion. We will definitely be going back often, if you want traditional south Indian food, then this is the place for you. Very reasonable as well considering how big the portions are and how delicious the food is. You won’t regret it! The cauliflower 65 was exceptional!

Good south Indian Street food. I only went here for the masala Dosa (crispy pancake made from Rice flour ). I'm not a fan of restaurants that do all kinds on food which is not their specialty.. restaurant is simple and plain nothing fancy or high end, but the food was tasty and not over spiced . The Dosa was nice an crispy with a mild spicy potato filling.only thing I did noticed was the coconut chutney was made with mint and coriander.. Not a usual thing.. I did ask for more chutney which was bought over with out any issue. As I was almost finished the waiter bought over coconut chutney. The proper ONE this time . Either they made a boo boo and gave the wrong one or it wasn't prepared , as the chutney was warm to the taste giving me the impression it had just been made hense why it's only a 4star . Sambar was nice and tasty and not just chillies .But over all the Dosa was good and tasty.

Fantastic vegetarian restaurant in Hounslow. Food comes out hot and crispy. Plenty of seating options available. The dishes are served in traditional thali plates. Service was fantastic and the staff are polite, there is ample seating options available but can get quite busy. The mushroom and paneer 65 was really delicious. I would choose the mushroom over the paneer however I would have expected better choices of condiments, a spicy sauce would have paired really well, the tomato sauce was really sweet. Out of all the dishes I loved the cheesy podi dosa and the pav bhaji dosa, they were surprisingly very filling. Chana batura was really delicious and the batura was hot and crispy however I didn't enjoy the vada. Overall I enjoyed my meal but I was expecting the bill to be a little bit lower but I would still come back for more.

Nice South Indian restaurant. Lets first talk about parking near Crispy Dosa as it ia a very busy area. There is a car park very near it called Hanworth Road Car Park (3mins walk) which charges £1.50 for 1 hour and £3 for 2 hours. It is a Euro car park and the restaurant will refund £1.50 when you pay the bill at Crispy Dosa even if you are there for more than 1 hour. We paid for 2 hours to be on the safe side and by the time we had left the restaurant, only 66 mins had gone by. Now the restaurant is a bit dated but it is clean and if the aesthetics/decor/ambience are important, you are in for a slight disappointment. The walls are painted with pictures of south indian actors and people in cultural clothes. We went there for the food so werent too fussed. We ordered a masala dosa, paneer masala dosa, parotta, special rasam and pav bhaji. The portions are generous and the food is freshly cooked. The rasam is very, very good - it is tangy and the heat hits you later. The masala dosa was awesome but the paneer masala dosa was bland. The white coconut and tomato chutneys are good but the mint one needs to be changed to corriander I think - it's an unwanted outlier that should remain off the plate but it is my opinion as I am sure people love it. The pav bhaji was good - ok, the pav weren't authentic replaced with burger buns instead bit it was great as the bhaji was authentic. The service is very good. The staff treat you with respect and understand the meaning of good service, are able to explain the dishes and quick on their feet. Overall thoughts are that definitely will visit again to try...

I recently decided to try Crispy Dosa’s breakfast buffet on Saturday, and it turned out to be a real letdown. Firstly, they advertised the buffet at £8.99, but when I arrived, they asked me to pay upfront and added a 7% service charge. This was misleading and set a negative tone for the rest of my visit.

Let’s talk about the food. The quality was far below the competition in the area. Compared to places like Aha Dosa and Madras Flavours, Crispy Dosa is lagging significantly. Their sambar lacked flavor and any sort of kick, making it a poor imitation of what it should be. It’s rare for me to leave food uneaten at a buffet, but I just couldn’t bring myself to finish what I had taken. The Puris were thick and oily, and the dosas were bland and unappetising.

The service, which I initially thought was good, turned out to be mediocre at best. The staff seemed disinterested and inattentive, which only added to my frustration. It’s clear that if Crispy Dosa wants to attract and retain customers, they need to seriously improve both their food and service.

It’s no wonder that while there was a huge queue at Madras Flavours, Crispy Dosa had plenty of empty seats—literally three-quarters of the restaurant was empty. This speaks volumes about the quality of their offering. Needless to say, this will be my last visit. Save yourself the trip and...

We ordered some takeaway from Crispy Dosa during our stay at The Lensbury Resort. We read the reviews and felt positive. But due to some issues our delivery took nearly 2 hours to arrive and my hungry kids were late for bed. During this time we had several phone calls with the restaurant and no clear communications were made. When the food arrived it was cold and hard which we could not eat except for few items. The reason provided was - "We are short of delivery people and was a busy evening" , but this was not mentioned during the time of order.

After some time I received a call from the Manager to explain the situation, what went wrong. If I had not received a call from the Manager I would have left with a complete bad experience and decided to never use them again. However the Manager apologized and offered us to replace the food or offer full refund. It was very late for the food replacement and I opted for a refund.

I understand these incidents are inevitable in the restaurant industry, however the only thing matters is that how best its handled. In my case this was best handled by the Manager and I am pleased it ended up well which is why I have scored a 4 start instead of 1. I will definitely visit them next time and also refer them to my customers.

Best...
