Istanbul Kebab Cambridge Heath — Attraction in London

Best kebab of my life. Let me tell you, I don’t do Google reviews very often but I genuinely felt that this place deserved it. It was the most perfect, most fresh kebab I have had in years, if not ever. The wrap was rolled out fresh and baked for me on the spot, the chicken was cooked to perfection, with the bossman insisting I wait a few more minutes to ensure it was properly cooked. All green flags from the start and excellent service. I tipped them and I don’t think I’ve ever tipped a kebab shop in my life. The flavours were incredible, so fresh, the chilli sauce should have a whole review just to itself, the vegetables all perfectly portioned and prepared. Could not ask for more. I will be returning soon and I already can’t wait. Tonight I will be dreaming good dreams, dreams of the kebab I just consumed, with a smile on my face. Thank you...

I've been to Istanbul Kebab around 6 times in the past year and I always order a large doner kebab with chips or pita bread.

Not much to say other than the lamb doner is simply amazing, good authentic meat flavour. Even better with their chilli sauce and salad, such a tasty meal. Chips have a good flavour too, better than most PFC's. Their doner is original, unlike the fake doner from PFC's that are mixed with 100 different spices that you can't taste the meat anymore.

One time I asked if I could try the chicken doner just to taste, the gentleman gave me half a box worth for free. I wasn't too keen on the flavour but I know other people do enjoy chicken doner.

It is really unhealthy lool so I try to keep a few months between each visit but the wait makes my meal even better.

P.S They accept contacless card payments...

Ordered many times from this Kebab, today will be the last time, that I will spend money here! Sent wrong order, admitted that they were confused but didn’t think to call the customer and find out. Tried to reason with the person on the phone and would not meet us when expressing dis-satisfaction We the customer have to do the jumping before it can be rectified - this is not how you build good customer relations - moments like this will never be forgotten, after how much money was invested into them! So I won’t be recommending them, nor will I ever spend a penny. Disgusting 🤮 Cold food, wrong order, and the attitude was “what do you want me to do” ???

MAKE IT RIGHT PERHAPS?!? That would be logical and moral thing...
