I think level of service is bad.staff are lovely but rushed off their feet. Always willing to help you but this store has incredible problems with manning a till.i asked a few times to open a till to serve me and each time I was refused. To be fair to a member of staff he did actually insist that another member of staff open the till for me but she kept refusing.she insisted that I use self service and she would help me.i have run into so many big problems using self service that I now refuse.anyway there was people around wanting the tills opened up to be served. I explained the situation and insisted a till was opened up.head office you need to sort this store out. Everytime I come into here there is a big problem.when she finally opened up to serve me there was a very large queue behind me.thats says it all. I have already complained about my bad treatment I received from the manager in this store a couple of weeks ago, regarding a couple of little plastic bags that I used for my fish products that I bought as I did not want any leakages in my large bag, I gave you feedback last week and hopefully it's gone onto the Internet.no one from marks Spencer has contacted me so discuss the incident about threatening to charge me 5p just for using a little tiny plastic bag for my fish products. Yes that same person let other people go by without delay. One woman suggested it was my skin colour as to why this so called manager stopped me. Surely this is against the law. I simply cannot believe it. Shame on you marks Spencer food hall Kingsland Road. Shame on you for refusing to get in touch with me to discuss this. I hope this shames you into acting quickly. Sort your house out with your so called sour face manager marks and spencer...

A staff member was rather rude to me recently. 'Rita' started off by ignoring me (I said "excuse me" three times, I am reasonably sure she heard me and ignored me) and then replied in a rather angry tone when she did answer my question. I feel like it is pretty reasonable to ask where something is. It was pretty close, but I had looked and missed it. She didn't know what I was going to be asking about while she ignored me, and I don't think someone not having seen something is justification for reacting angrily towards them. Fair enough if people don't feel like being polite, but there isn't really an excuse for treating customers badly unless you are seriously underpaid or otherwise treated badly by your employer. Will go somewhere...

Ludicrous service where you are lied to!

I bought the wrong product and told me to come the next day to change it. Surprisingly, the next day they say they can't do it!

The manager treating with such a lack of respect, keeping his hands in his pockets, turning his body showing he doesn't care just to wait for you to leave shows that you you're speaking to a wall. When the manager tells you that you have been misinformed by an employee, trust this company and get treated that way, it's unacceptable.

This is shameful and they show a terrible image between lies, false commitment, absence of respect and lack of consideration of even looking for an agreement.

I've lost trust in this company and will...
