Great place to buy all your last minutes gifts such as cards and candles from Clintons Cards,or the GAME shop to keep upto date with all latest game arrivals,I spend quite alot of time choosing and purchasing games mainly because I'm a gamer and it's good to visit these shops at the Palace Exchange only because its better buy in person and support smaller shops, rather than heavily relay on Internet shopping which I find inpersonal as you don't always get what you want. But generally the I love Marks& Spencers and waitrose which are both situated within Palace Exchange and superb if you want to grab a quick bite to eat or to buy your groceries, just a note but marks & spencers has a café upstairs selling sandwiches cold and hot beverages among other things. But there is a Greggs and Percy Ingle bakery along the high street so you'll definitely not starve!! Enfield has a wide variety of choice for everyone. However the Palace Exchange caters for all age groups as it sells kids toys upstairs in Pearsons department store, and confectionery, homeware, gifts, and other shops sell shoes, beauty and skin care which are vegan and cruelty free such as The Body shop! And NYX makeup at Boots. Ideal for everyone from vegetarian, vegan, meat eaters those on specific diets, childrens changing area, toliet facilities, carpark,& disabled accesses and lifts especially in Pearsons but mostly near car park area and not forget near by is a huge park so make it an...
Read moreThe shopping centre is quite small and is very outdated. The council has not used their creativity to empower this place, and that I am sure of. There is not a huge variety of high street shops, the shops that are here may only sell a small selection of what you may expect to get from a mall.
Recently, there are some high street shops that are trying to make a big impression on consumers and I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing this happen.
Palace Exchange is dark, and unfortunately is very out dated. I have not come across one single creativity to boost its surrounding to make it a pleasant place for everyone to visit.
I was not able to locate the public toilets.
Busiest times are most likely Saturday and Sunday.
There are a couple of coffee shops, they are mostly busy as there seems to be a demand on coffee shops here with a better interaction with customers by involving customers through a journey of coffee... once again not a lot of creativity...
This place is in need of local talented people to help change and revamp the whole place. As an Enfieldian I feel sad that this is what the city got to offer.
Children has got couple of out dated very depressing to see car 🚗 rides that works with a 20p coin...
It is safe as most people mind their own...
Read moreSo, this shopping centre is OK. I think they need to upgrade the shops a little. Also, the friendliness of the actual people working there, I don't know what it is, but everyone just seemed really depressed. In most of the shops I went in, I went in JD's, I went in Gregg's, I went in, I can't remember the shops now, O2. I went in quite a few shops and everyone just seemed really depressed. It was today that I went in there. I just feel like, for me, I work in retail and I just would have liked a nice, lovely experience. You know, some people greeting you, and the right attitude, and I think that would have made my experience much better. I'm going to give it a 5 star. The reason I'm giving that is because I do like the shopping centre. I just feel like there's a few things that need to change to make it a better place. Like I said, some better shops, parking needs to be looked at. There's a few...
