My review is for a Saturday late afternoon experience from the perspective of a family with a young child…we unfortunately did not have a positive experience and this is a review I wish I had been able to read before booking here. I pre-paid £72.00 for two adults and one child to do 2 rounds (18 holes total). Upon arrival someone did greet us and direct us to where the check in screens were, however, we had to figure out ourselves that we needed to go find another check in area to receive clubs/balls…I had to go find a staff member to ask for help because it was not obvious to us what to do after the digital check in. I did not realize until we were getting our clubs that each player is on a 60 seconds clock to finish each hole which includes an audible countdown noise for the last 15ish seconds. This part of the game was not obviously mentioned anywhere in the booking process or on the website. For adults this is fine, and I understand that for the incredibly large volume of people the company is allowing to book, this system probably helps with the flow of groups through each hole to reduce queue times. However, this was stressful for our young daughter as it made her very nervous. There were also so many people (mostly large groups) so for our family of 3 using only 3 minutes max per hole, it felt like we spent more time queuing for the next hole as large groups took their turns than we did actually playing the game. After getting through the first 9 holes with my daughter mostly being stressed, I asked if we could cancel our second round and get our money back but was told I could not due to their 24 hours cancellation policy. I didn’t want to waste the money we had spent so we did our best to be positive and finish the other course. By the end of it our daughter was saying her feet were hurting…there is nowhere to sit as you’re waiting for the long queues in between holes (I’ve included a photo of how many people were ahead of us on the second course). Overall, I would say just know what you are signing up for if you decide to come, especially on a weekend. The facility was very clean, the digital scoring system is a nice tech addition to mini golf, and a few of the holes were really cute…it is just very crowded on weekends so you’re rushing through playing a hole and then standing/queuing in a crowd. I think a low crowd day and the option to not play against a 60 seconds clock for kids would be a completely different experience. Perhaps the company might offer family hours one day where the booking system also accounts for the size of groups and spaces booking times out accordingly to reduce queue times and allow each group to more fully enjoy their time...

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Puttshack, London’s premier mini golf destination, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From start to finish, my experience at Puttshack was nothing short of fantastic.

The moment I entered Puttshack, I was greeted by a vibrant and energetic atmosphere. The venue’s modern design and lively ambiance set the perfect tone for an afternoon of fun and friendly competition. The staff was welcoming and ready to assist, ensuring that every visitor felt valued and well taken care of.

The course itself was an absolute delight. Puttshack boasts an incredible collection of beautifully designed holes, each with its own unique theme and challenges. From navigating tricky hazards to aiming for that elusive hole-in-one through creatively crafted obstacles, every hole offered a new adventure. The attention to detail was outstanding, and I couldn’t help but marvel at the intricate craftsmanship that went into creating this mini golf paradise.

What truly sets Puttshack apart is its use of cutting-edge technology. The interactive elements integrated into the course added an extra layer of excitement and innovation to the game. The ball-tracking technology was accurate and responsive, enhancing the overall experience and making each shot feel incredibly satisfying. It’s the perfect blend of traditional mini golf charm with a touch of modern wizardry.

Puttshack’s amenities were equally impressive. The bar area offered a wide selection of refreshing drinks, including delicious cocktails that perfectly complemented the vibrant atmosphere. The food menu was diverse, catering to a range of tastes, and the quality of the dishes surpassed my expectations. Grabbing a bite to eat and enjoying a drink while watching others play added to the overall enjoyment of the experience.

Throughout my visit, the staff at Puttshack were attentive and friendly, always ready to provide assistance or answer any questions. Their enthusiasm and passion for what they do were evident, creating a welcoming and engaging environment for all visitors. They genuinely wanted everyone to have a fantastic time, and their dedication shone through.

In conclusion, Puttshack is an absolute gem for mini golf enthusiasts and anyone looking for a memorable experience in London. It’s a perfect blend of fun, creativity, and technological innovation, offering a mini golf adventure like no other. Whether you’re visiting with friends, family, or even on a date, Puttshack guarantees an unforgettable time. So grab your putter, gather your group, and get ready to embark on a mini golf journey that will leave you with a big smile and...

Such a cool idea. Unique from other crazy golf places. You do not need a scorecard, the ball has a code which then relates to you. So when you put the ball on the starting point it knows who you are. You get points based off how many shots you do it in, there’s super holes where you can get extra points. The winner is the person who gets the MOST points. So it’s rather unique and different to normal crazy golf. It was really really fun!

Another thing to look out for is you register that you are there, and then you have to wait on a list which is on the big screens. It kinda looked like a boarding plane screen in an airport. This is such a good idea. It tells you which golf course to go too as well. So keep an eye out for that or you will miss your game. Couple drinks down and you will forget haha.

On the course we were on, there was a wheel and it had different options/prizes. I managed to get a free game out of it by getting a hole in one. This was a good idea as it makes it more fun. There was also a hole where you had to answer a true or false question and it would deduct points from your score.

I would definitely recommend for date night and group activities. We went on a Saturday evening and it was really busy, full of couples and groups of friends. Everyone was really happy vibes, having fun. The DJ was playing some good tunes haha. The cocktails and drinks were really nice, a lot of different options. The bar is separate from the golf which is nice as you don’t feel like you are in a sticky crazy golf place. They also do food, didn’t try any but it looked nice from what people had in there.

Staff were really nice and friendly. Table service in the bar as well which was a nice touch.

Would 100% recommend. It was great fun, it was unique, the drinks were really good, pricey but you are in Bank so deal with it. Go with your mates, with your hubby, with your first date. Definitely going back and...
