My friends and I went to this place to celebrate our friends bday▪︎ we have paid £270 pounds for the table, hoping to have a good time. However, when we got to this place, we have received the most horrible customer service by the bouncer. My friends have misunderstood where to go for smoking area, accidently went to the exit door, since we are not from here, it was an honest mistake. They even said that my friend was rude to them but my friend did not even say a word to them.
The bouncer, was so unhelpful, did not even take my friends concern and have asked him to leave, then after haaving a discussion with them, their let my friend in. However, even then we felt that we were accused of doing something wrong.
My other friend, she had a food bag and was advised to leave It by the door, which we understood but we have requested not to place it on the floor because it is food and did not want it to get kicked or ruined. Even the bouncer agreed to place it on the table, as soon as we turned, the placed the food on the floor.
It was a horrible experience and we felt like being discriminated because of our race. Yes, we felt that the bouncer is being racist towards us. We went to this place to have a great time and since we felt so unwelcome, staff is not friendly and the service we got was bad. We have decided to leave in less than half an hour
Even though we paid for the table in advance and the drink, we couldn't stay anymore because we felt horribly mistreated by the staff members.
The customer service we have received is beyond awful and unacceptable. We are very frustrated and will not recommend this place.
P/s: my partner don't speak a single word to bouncer while his outside smoking as his English was not good.
We get there 10.45 and me and other 3ppl leave around 12am, my other friend leave around 12.20am if this call it...
Read moreI have been a fan of carwash for over a year now, and have thoroughly enjoyed each night there when the club was at the old location in Mayfair. I visited the new place for a night out last weekend and I'll be honest, when I walked in I was instantly disappointed. The biggest and most important thing the new place is missing is the multi-coloured lit tile dancefloor. This was the character and charm of the old place, and for me what made carwash so unique in the loop bar, it was the centre piece. It was so fitting for the theme of the retro floor with the older music from the 70s and 80s. In carwash you should feel like you're on the set of Saturday night fever.
I was honestly expecting the new venue at sway to have this unique feature, but very sadly it hasn't. The new venue is just an ok looking bar with some carwash banners up that plays the usual (but fantastic) old music. The new place has no character, and without the multi-coloured dancefloor, for me this new carwash will never be as good as the old place. When I was in there the weekend just gone, I just wanted to be in the loop bar, as it was far superior than what sway is. It's quite disappointing and it's a serious downgrade. I really think the owner(s) should invest in a retro lit dancefloor. I spoke to one of the DJs on the night and even he agreed the place needs it. Those ugly sofas in the centre of the room are useless, and only serve as a place for coats to be placed making the room look messy (the place needs a cloakroom). Such a shame, I really thought it would be better. It just doesn't feel like...
Read moreI recently had an extremely distressing experience at the Carwash Club in London, and I feel compelled to share my story to warn others. When I arrived, I was greeted not by a friendly attendant, but by a security guard who was unnecessarily aggressive and intimidating. The security staff treated me with an alarming level of hostility from the moment I pulled up to the entrance. This experience was both frightening and upsetting. I have never been treated so poorly at any establishment. Feeling unsafe and unwelcome, I decided to leave immediately, forfeiting my plan to spend my night there. The lack of basic customer service and the aggressive nature of the security personnel were absolutely unacceptable. Moreover, there was no effort from the management to address this issue. When I tried to bring this to the attention of someone in charge, I was brushed off and told that the security staff were just doing their job. This response was highly unsatisfactory and showed a complete disregard for customer safety and satisfaction. Given this experience, I strongly advise against visiting the Carwash Club in London. The hostile environment created by the security personnel makes it a place where customers do not feel safe or valued. There are many clubs in London that treat their customers with the respect and courtesy they deserve—this is definitely not...
