Bought a dining experience on Wowcher which was for a three course meal and a glass of wine each for two. When we arrived, we were seated and as we were about to be presented with a menu we mentioned that we had a Wowcher deal and the atmosphere quickly changed. The menu was then swapped for an A4 piece of laminated paper Which had not even a quarter of the items on it that the main menu had. We were then left for half an hour while the owner tried to confirm the Wowcher code then when asking for our glass of wine were told that we could either have a glass of wine or a dessert which was not the Wowcher deal. Eventually, staff took our order and when it arrived, the portion seemed rather small just like the glass of wine we were eventually given. A gentleman on the table next to me ordered the same carbonara that I ordered however his came out in a much bigger bowl and looked completely different to mine. Mine looked like it had been sat in the kitchen overnight with no sauce and not much flavour. After a very disappointing experience, we tried to leave and were stopped at the door quickly and told that we needed to pay a service charge. I actually thought it was a joke and I asked them to show us where it said we needed to pay a service charge. This was actually written on the main menu that we were not given. All in all it was a very bad experience and I would not recommend it to anyone. We were actually told that Wowcher had told this restaurant to serve substandard food and a much cheaper range for anyone booking with a...
Read moreI recently had an unfortunate experience at a casa di Anna in Willesden Green, and I feel compelled to share my feedback. The overall visit left me quite disappointed.
Prior to booking a table, we took the initiative to call and confirm the availability of Wi-Fi. The person on the phone assured us that Wi-Fi was indeed accessible. However, upon arrival, we were met with complaints when we attempted to use our laptops while waiting to order dinner. This inconsistency between what was promised over the phone and the subsequent restrictions during our visit was frustrating and misleading.
Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this place for their hospitality service. The combination of a rude owner, an empty store, and the discrepancy regarding Wi-Fi availability left a negative impression. I encourage potential patrons to explore other options in the Willesden Green area, as this particular experience was far from satisfactory.
Overall, it was an unfortunate and regrettable visit. I hope this feedback serves as constructive criticism for the establishment to improve their customer service and...
Read moreI visited A Casa Di Anna today as the place brings me memories and wanted to enjoy a nice time with myself. When I came in this time I made my order and sat down. I was also planning to order a bigger order and met a friend there! My surprise was when I was about to take out my laptop to do a 10-minute task and they said I couldn't do it in the area where I was sitting down and that I had to go to the window area. I moved to the tables on the window and a waiter just came and told me that they don't allow the laptop in the whole place. I just said I would only do something that literally takes 10 min, he told me no. Not to mention the restaurant was totally empty. I don't expect they let people sit there for hours with their laptops or allow them when the restaurant is busy, but there was literally no one there and it was 10 min! Unfortunately, that is the way they lose customers while making people feel very unwelcome! Won't be coming anymore! I definitely wouldn't recommend...
