Certainly, here's a more concise review of The Hoxton Shoreditch and its outstanding service and dining recommendations: Nestled in London's vibrant Shoreditch neighborhood, The Hoxton Shoreditch offers an exceptional blend of style and service that left me thoroughly impressed during my recent stay. From the moment I stepped into the modern, chic lobby, I knew I was in for a special experience. The rooms at The Hoxton Shoreditch strike the perfect balance between comfort and aesthetics. I opted for a cozy room that felt spacious and well-designed, complete with a luxuriously comfortable bed and all the amenities I could wish for. The attention to detail in the room's decor was a testament to the hotel's commitment to creating a unique ambiance for its guests. What truly sets The Hoxton Shoreditch apart is its exceptional service. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was not just comfortable but also memorable. From the friendly and welcoming front desk team to the attentive service throughout my stay, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident at every turn. However, the standout feature of my stay was the hotel's dining and nightlife recommendations. Shoreditch is known for its diverse culinary scene, and the hotel's team demonstrated an impressive knowledge of the local dining landscape. Their recommendations were nothing short of outstanding, steering me toward hidden gems and authentic dining experiences rather than tourist traps. I had the pleasure of dining at several of the recommended restaurants, and each one was a culinary delight. One standout was Dishoom, an Indian restaurant that tantalized my taste buds with its rich and flavorful dishes. The Hoxton Shoreditch's assistance with securing reservations ensured that I had a seamless dining experience, avoiding long waits. But the recommendations didn't stop at restaurants. The hotel's team also excelled in suggesting bars and nightlife options, catering to a wide range of preferences. Whether you're into craft cocktails, live music, or trendy speakeasies, their suggestions covered it all. One evening, I explored the hotel's rooftop bar, and it was a highlight of my stay. The breathtaking views of the city skyline, combined with expertly crafted cocktails and a lively yet relaxed atmosphere, made it the perfect spot to unwind after a day of exploring Shoreditch. In addition to their dining and nightlife insights, The Hoxton Shoreditch also provided valuable recommendations for exploring the neighborhood's cultural and artistic offerings, from art galleries to unique boutiques. In summary, The Hoxton Shoreditch exceeded my expectations on every front. From the well-designed rooms to the impeccable service, my stay was a true delight. What made it truly exceptional was the hotel's dedication to offering top-notch recommendations for dining and nightlife, allowing me to savor Shoreditch's vibrant culture like a local. If you're seeking a memorable Shoreditch experience with excellent service and insider tips, The Hoxton Shoreditch is the perfect choice. It's more than a hotel; it's an unforgettable experience.

I stayed one night here for my birthday so I will be very honest with my feedback. The first thing I noticed on arrival was how busy the ground floor was. It was like a youth gathering, which isn't a bad thing but seats were scarce. Most of the individuals there were glued to their tablets, phones or laptops. It was more like a collaborative workspace with very few people talking to each other. On check-in the staff were courteous and gave us our key cards. The rooms were nice. It gave me that industrial feel, but it was very clean. The bed was way too soft for me, but some may like that. The room came with a DAB Radio and Smart TV, which I love. The bathroom had a rainfall shower but no bath. This suits me so no complaints. The room had a small fridge and safe for valuables. However the space to hang you clothes was tiny, so had to live out of my bag. I did not use the restaurant or bar as I had seen some bad reviews about them previously. On a whole it was a pleasant experience but the price tag is a bit high for just a room. The major positive is the location of this hotel. Located just a short walk from Old Street Tube Station on the Northern Line in Shoreditch, the location provides you access to numerous restaurants within 5 to 10 minutes walk of the hotel. It is a global food fest. A small supermarket in directly across the road. The Barbican Centre is also not too far, maybe about 20-30 minutes walk. There are a few night spots and bars also located within 5-10 minutes. This area has a very young adult vibe so be prepared. It is lively and definitely not quiet. I will stay again as I like the area.

We stayed here for two nights and had an absolutely wonderful experience the entire time. We called ahead asking for a baby cot and upon arrival the cot was set up in our room along with towels for baby, a breathable blanket, a little baby goodie bag with a coloring book and a list of additional items that we could request like a baby tub, baby toiletries, bottle warmers, a nappy pail, etc. We called down and asked for a baby bath tub and toiletries and they were delivered within 5 minutes of asking. The room was very clean, well decorated, and had gentle music upon arrival with plenty of towels. The downstairs Hoxton Grill area was very lively on Saturday night and definitely required a booking but there was also casual seating by the fireplaces if you wanted to just grab a drink and could do the same with coffees in the morning. We got a complimentary little breakfast of yogurt, fruit, and juice for baby if we requested it by bedtime and left the bag on the outside of our door. The staff were extremely warm, welcoming, and professional and even made some suggestions for things to do on a Sunday in the area. The soap and shampoo/conditioner smell amazing (random, I know, but it makes a difference!). We will definitely be staying here again and will actively seek out The Hoxton in other cities due to this experience.

I did a two day weekend stay here. It's a great location with lots of nightlife and easy access to transit. The rooms are chic and trendy, albeit small and without much space to hang clothes. The hotel amenities are nice, although it has no gym which seems like an oversight. My chief issue is with the lobby service. The hotel seems to treat the entire lobby as a restaurant. I had gone on a morning walk and came to the lobby to sit by the fireplace and read my book, and I had a coffee and croissant I'd bought elsewhere with me. I was asked by a staff member if I wanted to order food, and when I said no I was told I couldn't sit in the lobby and had to return to my room. Frankly this is a ridiculous policy. I'm already paying to stay in the hotel, I shouldn't need to pay extra just to sit in the lobby. I would understand if I were sitting at the bar or in the restaurant area, but this was in a lounge chair near reception. Or if it was a busy time with a lot of outside guests, but this was at 10am and very few other people were around. I hope the hotel reconsiders this horrible policy because it makes me reluctant to stay here again, even though otherwise I liked the hotel.

Terrible Hotel and staff. I booked a one night stay at this hotel and they never had my room ready til hours after the fact (bare in mind I only booked this for the one night). I informed the hotel manager that the hotel was literally making me waste my own money by not having the room ready hours past the check-in. The staff told me to get refreshed in a much smaller room and provided me with a oat bar, as If I didn't just spend a lot of money on their more premium room (£150-£200+ a night hotel). What's more disgusting is that I told the hotel manager politely that I would be contacting my credit card company to get a partial refund because of this whole fiasco my trip/evening had been wasted, and he said he completely understands that and it wasn't acceptable. THEN when I get home the hotel staff denied this conversation afterwards as I contacted my bank. I EVEN HAVE PHOTO evidence of them acknowledging everything I've said in this review. I don't even care about the refund I was promised at this point, this is just a terrible hotel. Disgusting hotel, will never stay again.
