The Best Homemade Korean Food in South London If you’re searching for authentic, homemade Korean food in South London, look no further than Miga. Tucked away like a true hidden gem, Miga delivers an unforgettable culinary experience that feels like stepping into a Korean home kitchen. From the moment you walk in, you’re welcomed with warm hospitality and the comforting aromas of slow-cooked broths, sizzling meats, and freshly made side dishes. The menu is packed with traditional favorites, and every dish is crafted with care, authenticity, and just the right amount of spice. The Bulgogi is tender and sweetly marinated, and the Bibimbap is a colorful, satisfying bowl of textures and flavors. What sets Miga apart is not just the quality of the food, but the heart behind it—this is soul food, Korean-style. Whether you’re a longtime lover of Korean cuisine or trying it for the first time, Miga is a must-visit. Rating: 5/5 – Authentic, heartwarming, and absolutely delicious.

The BEST Korean restaurant I’ve been to in London, with incredibly friendly and welcoming staff! No dreadful queues or ridiculous prices. The food and atmosphere perfectly compensate for the Northern Line journey to Morden. I was pleasantly surprised by how good the gimbap tastes, especially the chicken and beef ones. They were the best I've had in my life. The fried chicken was also out of this world! I highly recommend the sweet chili flavor; it literally made my day. Overall, a place that lives up to its name—amazing food, amazing people, and amazing interior decorations! Everything combined makes it feel like home :) It's definitely one of the places I'll miss a lot in London!"

I travel to Korea once a year and I’ve fallen in love with the food, people and her culture. When I’m not in Korea, I travel there through Korean food! This place was recommended to us by my friends daughter who like me love Korean food. Yesterday my son and I decided to try it out. We were very pleased we did. The foods a work of art (presentation) and delightful to the pallet 👌🏽😋. I wished I had two stomachs so I could eat more. The chefs and the young lady who served us were friendly and attentive. I had 3 courses that cost only £20. Highly recommend their soy sauce wings 😋😋. This is a little hidden gem of Morden.

If you're looking for delicious, home-style Korean food in Morden, this hidden gem is well worth a visit. Popular with the local Korean community (always a good sign!), the food here is hearty, flavourful, and clearly made with care.

The restaurant has a lovely, family-run feel. The staff are incredibly warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home from the moment you walk in. It’s the kind of place where regulars are greeted like old friends, and newcomers are quickly made to feel the same.

The décor is very simple—don’t expect anything fancy—but what it lacks in aesthetics, it more than makes up for in charm and flavour. It’s clear that the focus here is on great food and genuine hospitality, and in that, the restaurant truly excels.

A fantastic choice for anyone wanting a taste of real Korean cooking without frills. Highly...
