Fab Café Bar — Restaurant in Manchester

A down and dirty bar where you can get a cheap pint, especially during their early evening happy hours. The place is decorated with toys and other sci-fi paraphernalia, so if you're a fan of Dr Who, Star Trek (there's an entire life size replica of the Enterprise A's bridge in here!), Star Wars, Transformers, etc, etc get yourself down there for a cheap pint and some pining over the 80s relics in the display cabinets. Talking of cabinets there's also a few OK-ish 90s coin-op arcade machines like Point Blank where you can get your game on. I've also been in here whilst very drunk to have a dance, but there are far, far better places to go for that in central Manchester to be honest. They have nights to show Games of Thrones and other cult TV shows, but I have never been to one so couldn't comment on how good they are. They also tend to show wrestling Pay-Per-Views the Monday evening after they air live on the Sunday night, so if you're a WWE fan and don't have Sky you can have a drink and catch up if the mood...

Amazing place, been here many times but tnite had an awful customer experience tonight. Soon as we approached the bar and asked for a Tuborg, the lady serving gave the impression I asked for limb replacement. "We don't have any" Umm OK, what lagers do you have? I asked. "Whatever you see on the taps" was the response with a huff and puff. OK. Let's roll with it, everyone has bad days I thought. Upon the 2nd order she completely misunderstood my order, then argued with me, then snatched the beer and money out of my hand whilst shaking her head and telling me I was wrong before almost throwing the replacement drink at me. Went into this bar for my first time, I could not believe what I heard from the bar staff. As me and my friend received our drinks and sat down 10 minutes later my friend was cold and put his hood up, at this point the bar staff told him he wasn't allowed to put his hood up and to pull it down. Why I asked the staff they told me it's the rules and still couldn't explain why, at this point a young man came and repeatedly told us it's the rules and we needed to see his ears and face? I then pointed out to the gentleman behind the bar that he had a hoodie on and a bobbel hat on which was covering is ears and face,I told him what he was asking was absolutely stupid and doesn't make any...
