I was privileged to experience the global you tube singing sensation that is Lucy Thomas for her premiere public performance cover versions of well known songs over the last few decades plus her own songs from the upcoming London West End Show 'Rosie'. Also saw her sister Martha perform a lovely intimate duet with her. This venue was the perfect setting for this rising global singing sensation. The evening will always remain a special memory in my heart and all fellow followers who appreciate beautiful music. Everything about this event...the anticipation, performance and post show experience was superb-loved it. Standing ovation to the event organisers who must have been thrilled to be chosen as the venue for a very special moment in...
Read moreWhat a wonderful venue, very modern with disabled access. The bar is quiet small in the atrium, not much choice of larger unless you like peroni, the wine selection is adequate as are the choice of ciders but it does serve coffee too. Direct access onto the upper balcony which has around 45 tiered seats in 3 rows. Toilet access is via stairs or ramp on the lower floor which also gives you access to the main hall. Acoustics in the venue are amazing. Location wise, the Victoria train station is directly opposite the rear of the stoller hall, close to bars, restaurants, hotels and the main Arndale shopping center. Local transport links are also close by and the M.E.N. Arena is...

Seats are comfortable and there is enough space so you aren't feeling crowded in to people next to you.
The venue is clean, seem to be enough toilets and they are clean and well kept too.
Bar is reasonably priced, but quite stark. A typical modern theatre bar.
There are certainly better venues for comedy or modern music in Manchester, but I imagine it would be nice to see a recital or...
