The delightful family run pizzeria sits just out the way from the busy life of the city, offering a friendly welcome to all ages and species. With a great selection of pizzas, panini's and salads and the ability to customise them to your own desire, it is hands down my favourite place to munch out. Great coffee and tea too! Excellent little cafe in the heart of Leazes Park, at the edge of the lake. Our dog drags us there regularly for her puppacino! Great selection of hot and cold drinks,we usually stick to lattes,hot chocolate or mocha. Don't often eat there as we go on a morning, but can recommend the pizzas..not only do they taste fabulous but the portions are absolutely huge. Haven't had the paninis but they look lovely and are very popular. I love the carrot cake and have recently tried the individual cheesecakes which were amazing. Beautiful park, woefully under used, it needs more people to use it who will enjoy and appreciate it, if more of us used it, the shifty types that freqent here in the evenings would be discouraged! I'd LOVE to see this park host a summer long food event, like the one held in a park in Sydney,Australia, with food trucks and marquees of Local resteraunters, food producers etc, selling cuisines from all over the world, reflecting our fantastic cosmopolitan city!
