Had a brilliant visit to Strangers' Hall yesterday! The history lesson from the knowledgeable staff and volunteers in various rooms added a special touch to the experience. The building exceeded expectations, spanning over three floors with centuries of fascinating information. While I only captured a couple of pictures, the depth of history and architecture at Strangers' Hall makes it well worth a visit for anyone keen on delving into the past.

Fascinating place- so nice that Mr. Bolingbroke preserved and then donated it in 1923. It has very limited hours, though, so plan around that. I didn't purchase the guidebook they sell and found there was plenty of information without it- signage, laminated sheets, notebooks, wooden paddles as well as staff. The video in one of the rooms is also informative and well worth watching. If the weather is fine, the garden is very nice, too.

Really interesting place. We arrived an hour before closing and the ticket price was only £2, but it's definitely worth the normal price. The staff were very friendly and clearly keen to help. I liked that the experience was a mix of reading about the history and just absorbing the feeling of being in the house. The garden is also very nice and affords a lovely view back on the Stranger's Hall.

A not so little gem hidden away. The building covers a number of time periods. There are lots of nooks and crannies to explore with a history sheet available at each location. Well worth a visit.
