This very short arcade of shops is the most delightful, charming area. It should be browsed and loved by many. I will always take a short diversion through here. The shops are lovely little places and certainly a place for the independent shoppers.

A hidden gem of Nottingham and very delightful and charming arcade. Many boutiques, cafes, deli in this shopping mall. Really nice and new touch.

I normally visit the walk to go to The Cheese Shop for their amazing selection of cheeses, pork pies, scotch eggs, pickles, chutneys, crackers, breads, wines and spirits. I'm sure there is something I've omitted from the list of their repertoire such as brunch/lunch in the cafe. As well as this Nottingham legend there is a fantastic craft beer shop where you can get your hands on locally brewed beers as well as hard to find breweries and rarities. With an obligatory e-cigarette store, art gallery, premium music speakers store and fashion from Vivienne Westwood there is definitely a lot crammed into a small space with a very different feel from the high street.

Ps. Sorry to the businesses that I have...

Very nice but I preferred it when it was The Flying Horse pub. Converting it to a shopping centre in the 1980's was a criminal act of vandalism on the part of Nottingham City Council, on the same level as the demolishion of the Black Boy nearby. Only the facade of the original building remains. There are many people in Nottingham who also feel like this and Flying Horse Arcade has never been the commercial success it was...

Flying Horse Walk is a beautiful old walk, right in the heart of Nottingham, home to a range of wonderful quirky independent shops. Named after the Flying Horse Inn, an old coaching inn built over 500 years ago in the late 1400's. The old pub sadly closed in the late 1980's, but the building frontage, and old floors seen when entering some of the shops, is a wonderful way to appreciate the ancient history...
