We had a very fun morning yesterday. I took my 3 kids ages 5-13-16 we all had a fabulous time. I must say I was very impressed with one member of staff, can’t even remember his name but he was the first aider and the man that sorted the ice after the session. I have a child with special needs who had a fall and he was very good with him, not only that but I witnessed him helping so many people on the ice, helping them learn and encouraging them to keep trying, offering a helping hand when people fall. I know it’s his job but he was honestly so lovely and approachable.wve never seen such a lovely member of staff, My eldest struggles to talk to others but even felt comfortable to ask him to teach him how to go backwards that meant so much to me. We can’t wait to come back again. Having 3 children big age gaps 2 autistic and adhd it’s rare we find something for all of us to enjoy have fun but most of all everyone feel comfortable. Thank you so so much to the lovely gentleman you really made our day. I did take a photo of him helping🙈

Horrible experience!!! First of all I did not break any law Second of all, if all the safety guidelines are strict rules then I guess no one is allowed on the ice. I was resting at the concern of the ice arena and i got shouted extremely rudely by a staff and “got BAN” and “NOT allowed to be seen on the ice”. There was a safety GUIDE LINE suggesting no phone “on the ice” in the context of skating refers to being physically present and active on the ice surface. I was just checking my phone for seconds at the fence which is the border and was not active at all. I WAS TOLD THAT I “BREAK THE LAW” This is just simply BULLYING I feel very upset about the situation They ruined ICE RINK

It’s been about 25 years since I was last here and not one thing has changed in that time. They even still appear to be using the same ice skates. However, my main issue here is it is far too busy. This is made all the more worse by the fact they had a quarter of the rink sealed off for private use. I think it’s absolutely absurd and reeks of money grabbing. And to do this at the weekend when it’s plainly obvious how busy it will be is made all the worse. Did they offer a quarter off the price? Of course not!!! If you are happy skating at a speed slower than walking pace then you might slightly enjoy yourself but for me this was a very poor experience.

First staff are friendly and service is good. Went during the weekend so was quite busy. Large queue for rentals in general and the rental ice skates do appear to be quite worn out, similar to the building, plus booking system is overly complicated and needs registration; hence the 3 stars. Tips: -lockers are available, though bear in mind are 0.20p coins (you can ask reception for coins); no bags are allowed on the rink. -I would recommend parking at the Seacourt Park and Ride then taking the shuttle bus and walking to the venue if you plan to be around Oxford for the whole day; more space and better value.

The rink is quite large, that’s a plus. However, the skates are very old and very unconfortable, only figure skates available unfortunately (no hockey skates available). The ice is okish, but nobody guides people so some of the. Who are pros in skating use the breaks a lot and leave the ice pretty damaged. The locker system is very rudimentary, it requires 20p, which was gery difficult to get and lost a lot of time due to this. The ladies’ toilet is terrible, no soap or toilet paper available (around 3.30 pm). All in all, not a great experience.

We visit every Friday(Disco Night) with my 5 y.o. son. Management recently stopped allowing skate aids on the ice on Friday evening - leaving some parents with no choice, but not to come ice skating on Fridays. Good luck to those, who can make it only on Fridays!!! Toilets are not the best, but we have never needed them so far. On the other hand, the staff couldn't be more friendly and helpful. Particularly Amy who's usually at the Rentals and another young lady (short hair, always tied and with dimples). Thank you!
