Awful service - the lady at the counter knew we had ordered within the store for collection and left our food sat on the side for over 10 minutes. Then we got given our food after asking and got home only to find we paid extra for the meals and did not get given fries. We called up and firstly was tried to be told like we didn’t order meals, being questioned ‘you didn’t get fries?’ Around 3 times by the last after me repeating we didn’t receive them. We was then made to feel like it was our fault because ‘when customers ask for collection we make the fries fresh’ but we were sat waiting in store and the fries were not made and our delivery bag was stapled ready to be given to us, and then was told ‘it was busy’ as an excuse when the shop was empty and not many deliveries were going out when we were sat watching and waiting for our food. When asked if I could receive a refund for the extra we paid for the meals, we were made to feel fobbed off and like they didn’t want to issue a refund. Then, we didn’t receive the full refund for the extra we paid for the meals. First ti e order. I ordered the beef beef pizza with a small fries through uber . Which has beef pieces on top and a very unusual soft like pate pepperoni under the cheese which is not pepperoni first bite your mouth is filled with the fats of the meats very very unpleasant and left a horrible smell and taste on pizza. We rang mak halal the manager kritik assured me that I would receive a refund and that was on the 24th January 2025. They tell you there head office tells them what to do and the Even explaining that 4 family members are finding your pizza not edible and the fries were hard. They have not refunded. Avoid ordering from here through uber eats. Scheduled an order to come between 7.30-8pm. However, the restaurant had the order ready for the driver to collect at 6.45pm, when I live 10 minutes away. I called them before the driver had arrived to query this and received no help from the woman who answered the call or the manager. There was also a note in the order which clearly stated for it to be delivered around Iftar time. Neither of them understood what the issue with preparing food 1 hour before it should be delivered was. Instead of offering to cook the food fresh or try and work with us to sort the issue, the manager said that this is our problem to deal with through Uber and not their issue. He was very rude on phone. I don't understand how it isn't their issue when they are the ones cooking the food?
