Peppers City Takeout West Bromwich — Restaurant in Sandwell

My third & most definitely final visit to this place.

First time I went was shortly after opening. Food ordered arrived promptly but unfortunately there was something not quite right. Felt a nauseous after eating. My partner said the same thing.

Second time we thought we’d give it another chance and this was after several months. They managed to completely burn the panini on both sides but most of the other food wasn’t too bad.

Visited recently and ordered two meals costing almost £15. I’m saddened to say the only thing I enjoyed was the garlic mayo and chilli sauce.

The chips were undercooked and not fresh at all. Very hard, chewy and cold.

The burgers I ordered weren’t any better than the chips either. The chicken inside also wasn’t fresh. The coating wasn’t crispy at all; old and soggy. Also lacked sauces inside which made it a little dry.

It could’ve been a great meal had the chips and chicken been freshly made.

One final issue I had; on all three visits, the customer service was non existent. Staff weren’t rude or anything, just didn’t make any effort to make customers...

Don’t come here if you want to be respected because the service worker aleena did not give a little decency to have manners. The tone you speak to customers should be very polite but she did not care about customers. Customers come and buy food and pay your wages. If you don’t have a good manner or tone to speak with them you should not work there. Even 1 pound can make a change in someone’s business but she did not care as she clearly said “ £1.00 is not a lot”. Me and my friends have brought many customers to the shop but I don’t think I or they will be returning unless she gets dealt with by the manager. The rest of the workers including the manager were very understandable and really nice. I do apologise for the way I had behaved but when working in a food business the customer is always right. 1 pound can make a change in someone’s life but clearly Aleena does not care about the business. Usually order from soho Rd branch which is brilliant. On the other hand the Westbrom branch...I ordered and expected delivery was 6:50pm. It got to 7:20pm when I decided to call the place chasing up my order. Called in total 15 times and it just rang out. No answer. So asked for help on the just eat page. Where I managed to request for an update, within a minute i got a text saying sorry and that they will deliver at 7:45pm. It was 8pm and I tried to call the place again. This time a lady answered and told me the driver just left and would be with me soon. I asked if the food would be cold as its been over an hour she said no he just left so won't be. Food eventually arrived at 8:15pm and SURPRISE.. the food was cold, soft and soggy and just disappointing. Won't be ordering from here again. Just a waste of time effort and money.
