The Sandwell — Restaurant in Sandwell

Popped in on a whim, very pleasantly surprised, Pint of Guinness and half a Carling £5:50 makes this a very affordable drink or two, the tables were clean and tidy, pool table, sports TV and various events such as karaoke and bingo advertised. Seeing St Georges cross adorning the frontage in this day and age was welcomed.

The barman did a good job of getting everyone served in short order and clearing the tables, toilets clean and a range of basic pub snacks if you get the munchies.

The only negative I found was the table we sat at, when I pulled the chair out looked like there was a chicken nugget or something hiding under the chair, which was surprising with how clean the rest of the pub looked.

The real ales in there these days are so much better than twelve months ago, usually three different pumps on, think the average pint is £2.40 tho under two quid on a Tuesday night, there's also a loyalty card to get stamped with a free pint after so many beers ( real ales only), gets a bit boisterous some weekends but West Brom people like to enjoy themselves, 18months ago would have only given one star but quality of the beer has...

Didnt visit the premises but unfortunately walked passed and nearly got attacked by a very very drunk customer from this place. He was being racist and nearly punched me for the colour of my skin and also he started swearing at old Asian woman straight after. Owners should be more responsible as it was only midday and still serving him more. Avoid walking past...
